We’re located in a discrete but convenient location in the Costa Verde Center in UTC on Genesee Avenue between the 5 and the 805 freeways.

History

Established in 2015.

Began providing luxury waxing services in early March 2015. Our Première Opening Event was on March 6th and showcased our boudoir-​like treatment rooms and European lingerie.

I am so excited to launch Bare Elegance. After being a marketing consultant for years, I decided to tackle something completely different. My love of lingerie and the quest to find the best, quickest and most relaxing waxing available, led me to open this boutique. We pride ourselves on giving our customers the ultimate luxury waxing experience and we hope that you also enjoy our curated collections of European lingerie.

I had my first full Brazilian Waxing done with James (She’s a female by the way). I love how it’s a waxing place and a lingerie boutique. The atmosphere was bright and welcoming. Since it was my first Brazilian, I was very nervous and didn’t know what to expect. James made me feel very comfortable. She’s also very knowledgable in what she’s doing. I asked her to walk me through the steps. She informed me on everything from the start of the service to how to take care of it at home. I will definitely be coming back as a regular with James.

I got a Brazilian wax by Rachael and she was amazing! Waxing always hurts but she made sure I was comfortable and made the process quick. Another benefit is that you get a free pair of panties after!
The place is new and inside looks very nice and welcoming. The waxing room looks clean and smells nice. I will definitely be back!

My first time coming here and the staff were friendly. They offered me champagne while I waited and have tea, coffee, and cookies as well. The place is really cute and they also offer merchandise for you to purchase. I came in for a Brazilian wax and it was very painless. Definitely a place I’ll go back to again.

This place is incredible! I was super nervous about getting a Brazilian and I looked at tons of websites before settling on Bare Elegance. I’m so glad that I did! The entire staff here put me at ease immediately. (The complimentary glass of champagne certainly helped too!) I was so comfortable here and so happy with the results, I see no reason to try any other place! If you are looking for a place to have any waxing done, or even if you already have a place you like, you should give Bare Elegance a try!

This is THE BEST ever for waxing. The staff is very professional and the facilities spotless. Rachel is fantastic and she and I discussed the services I needed and the appropriate wax for my skin. The entire experience exceeded expectations. I was offered a glass of champagne and received free panties with my first french bikini wax. I highly recommend Bare Elegance and Rachel is a real find.

This place is awesome! I’ve been getting my eyebrows and Brazilian waxing for over 20 years now and no one has done a better job than Marcela. My brows are super thin so it’s really hard to make any arch or make them look full-​looking and she nailed it. The Brazilian was the fastest, least painful one I’ve ever had. Super clean with little treats like lemon bars are waiting for you in the lobby and their facial and eyebrow products rock! Won’t be going anywhere else. I always say don’t trust a place with 5 stars, buuuut this place is one you can definitely trust, I’ve been coming to bare elegance for about 4 months now and I love it! No, I don’t enjoy getting waxed lol but, the ladies make it quick and as painless as possible. I’ve had a few different estheticians and they have all been friendly and very good. You’re offered champagne and on your first visit you also get a free panty which are really nice. I highly recommend!

I’ll be honest I was nervous to try a Brazilian wax for the 1st time, but the owner Nikki & the rest of the friendly ladies put me at ease. All the estheticians were very knowledgeable & they used a wax that was good for sensitive skin. Each time the esthetician pulled a strip off, she applied the right amount of pressure to my skin to avoid any stinging sensation. I thought it would be awkward for someone to be working on me «down there», but they were all highly professional.
The clean rooms, super comfy & cute complimentary animal print panties & champagne made the experience even better than I imagined! I walked out of there silky smooth & my boyfriend approved ;)
Btw, the prices may seem expensive, but they always have special offers & great deals going on that keep me coming back as a repeat customer.

For starters, I got on Unilocal just to make this review. (It’s a big deal for me, ha) I was very pleased with my first experience here at Bare Elegance. (I am quite picky with my beauty salons/​body care) I was referred to them by a friend, and later went on their website. Inside they have a little section of lingerie (sexy!) you can shop for while enjoying a nice glass of complimentary champagne (score). I was very pleased with the cute yet professional lobby area and the customer service. I was brought back and felt comfortable and relaxed in the room and had enjoyable conversation with the esthetician.
I have already referred a bunch of my girlfriends ;)
Will definitely be returning for my next wax.

I saw Rachel for a Brazilian wax on my lunch break. She was sweet and talkative and made me feel very comfortable. Bare Elegance has friendly desk staff, gave me a great wax, and a free pair of panties with my Brazilian! Takes the sting out of the price ($ 55+) for sure. They offered champagne which I definitely would have accepted if I didn’t have to go right back to work. I would recommend this place for waxing and might try to have other services done there as well. I love that you are able to book online.

Professional, clean, welcoming. I had a very positive first waxing experience at Bare Elegance. The staff is courteous, friendly, warm and welcomes you with a glass of champagne. Yes, please! Although it’s never necessary, it’s a nice touch and exudes a tone of hospitality in a slightly upscale yet comfortable atmosphere. The front desk staff was helpful. Rachel, my esthetician, was personable, attentive, and did an nice job. I will return for waxing well done in a professional, clean, comfortable setting. Additionally, the 35% off first-​time customer discount is hugely welcoming, so do take advantage.

I have been waxing for a little over a year now and have tried a few waxing places. I have to say that I’m extremely impressed with Bare Elegance Waxing. The ladies at the front desk were extremely nice. My esthetician made sure to use smaller pieces since I bruise easily. She also got a few stubborn ingrowns that I could not manage to take out myself. They served chocolate and champagne which looked scrumptious. I had an overall great experience.
I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone, especially the fire time waxers. They are professional, sweet, and get the job done.

Great experience all around. The location is both convenient and private enough. Staff was super friendly greeting me warmly when I walked in. Offered beverage and snacks while I waited. This place is amazing, I highly recommend coming here for your waxing services. I came in a few weeks ago for a Brazilian wax, and as soon as I walked in I was impressed. The atmosphere is so sophisticated and high class, the décor is all beautiful. They serve you champagne while you wait and they have lingerie for sale in the front if you want to browse. My Brazilian was the least painful I’ve ever had, and everyone who I encountered who worked here was super friendly. The waxing rooms are relaxing and spa-​like, and on my way out they gave me a free pair of panties, a rose, and a piece of chocolate. Overall it was a fabulous experience, I will definitely be back soon!

I was able to squeeze in a last minute emergency brow appointment at lunch today.
I am a devotee to threading, but after seeing Marcela she may have changed my ways. From the first moment I walked in, I felt like my needs were their first priority. They answered the million random questions I asked, offered me something to drink, and were super welcoming.
The rooms are impeccably clean– even the wax pots have no drip on them. Marcela took her time, asked for my feedback, and then perfectly filled my brows.
The ice globes were just the icing on the cake. You’re in for a treat when getting your brows waxed.
They go above and beyond with their service– I will definitely be back.
