History

Established in 2004.

Barbora started with photography as a young girl. Her hobby became her profession in 2004 in Prague, Czech Republic. Since then, Barbora has lived and traveled in many different countries and she moved to San Diego in 2013, where she is establishing her business. Her specialty is engagement, wedding and birth pictures. She loves to work with people and captures everyone’s unique story.

Photography has been a passion of mine since I can remember and I’ve been shooting professionally for more than 7 years. I specialize in candid photos, headshots, couple pictures, family, pregnancy and wedding pictures, but also beauty, boudoir and glamour. I strive to create images that capture essence of you.

It is my goal for everyone that steps in front of my camera to have a fun, memorable shoot and really love their images.

I will work closely with you to find out exactly how you want to be portrayed and produce the best possible results.

My work can be found all over the world ranging from professional magazines to television media and private corporate events.

My pricing is reasonable and I can create custom packages to accommodate your budget.

Bara was BY FAR one of the best decisions we made while planning our wedding. By happenstance I found her online, no referral, no long list of reviews… I loved her photo portfolio and her prices were reasonable. We met her a month before the day and she was so personal, charming and go with the flow, I immediately felt at ease. After sharing stories back and forth over the course of a couple hours, we made a new friend right then and there. On the day of, her poised and comforting demeanor contributed to the beauty of the day, allowing the emotional flavor to fully take over without worrying about what the vendors need or what photo shot we need to take right now. she took natural moments and action shots throughout the entire day leading up to our vows. She never made me feel rushed or expected to take very specific or forced photos nor use up more time on pics than I wanted. Most importantly, she became apart of our clan that day and that is all I could have hoped for! Beautiful OUTSTANDING photos were taken all day and she made us look a lot more beautiful than we thought we were :) :) THANK YOU BARA, WE LOVED YOU!!!

Barbora is amazing!!! I hired her through George Street Photography and couldn’t be happier. Even though we didn’t meet until my wedding day, she knew exactly what I wanted. She took the time to call me a few days before my wedding to get a sense of my style and she even browsed through my pinterest album to get a sense of what I was looking for. We felt very comfortable with her on our wedding day. She knew exactly where to take us and would guide us on how to pose. She also took a lot of candid shots which is exactly what we were looking for. She knew how to blend in with our guests to capture those moments.
She also has an amazing and easy going personality and a lot of our guests still rave about her :-)
If you are looking for a great professional photographer and a true artist, look no further!!!

Barbora has taken photos for me both at my home and at our club, for a major event (my 70th birthday party). In both settings, she is a consummate professional and we have really enjoyed working with her. At the event, I was able to completely relax and enjoy myself because I knew Barbora would figure out a way to capture perfect photos of all my friends without any guidance from me, and she did exactly that. I was able to chat with her in the days ahead of the event so she knew what I wanted in my photos and she managed to meet all my expectations. I have also worked with her in the more intimate setting of my home with just family around. Her photos, especially of my adult daughters, were spontaneous and captured their spirits just perfectly. She is also sooo good with children, and my grandchildren love to pose for her. She is incredibly patient with them, and was therefore able to capture some perfect shots.
I cannot recommend Barbora highly enough. She is a wonderful photographer and is so easy to work with that you will never be disappointed.

I have worked with Barbora 2 times now and seen her in action at weddings and other events several other times. She is so amazing to work with! I am not a big fan of having my picture taken and she made me feel so comfortable. It only took a matter of minutes before I was laughing, and having the best time. She took pictures of me and my salon for my website and also took pictures of my boyfriend and I for sunset at the beach. I was extremely pleased with both occasions. The pictures turned out great for both and I didn’t even give her very much guidance. She has an eye and creativity for capturing exactly what you are looking for. She is very professional at what she does as well, and had the pictures ready for viewing in a timely manner. I would highly recommend her for any of your photography needs ranging from weddings, family photos, head shots, pictures of your business… etc. I really don’t think Barbora could do wrong. She has great prices the amount of experience and level of professionalism Barbora brings to the table!!! Thanks again Barbora for capturing some amazing moments for me!

Barbora was absolutely wonderful. Some of the pictures she chose to take were pictures no one would think would work but those have become most of my favorites. She starts from the very beginning of the day and through out the evening she got some breath taking pictures. I was so impressed of the moments she captured on film. She definitely gets caught up in your moments and creates treasured memories.

Barbora is a diamond in the rough. A true professional! All the pictures she has ever taken of me are the best pictures anyone has ever taken of me. I love her style too. She insists on meeting in person before any deals are worked out so that it is clear that everyone is a good fit for each other. This allowed me to feel comfortable and relaxed when she was taking my pictures. Instead of a photo shoot, it was like hanging out with a friend, having a good time while she took some pictures. Because I was so relaxed, I think this is why she is able to capture such great pictures! Also, she was the photographer for my Aunt’s wedding, and she was just always exactly where the moment was taking place. It’s like she uses her intuition to know when a moment is unfolding, and then she just shows up and waits for the moment to occur. Also, compared to the quality and prices that others are charging, she is a steal!

Barbora is a true artist, she can capture the moment, mood, light. I love how easy it is to work with her, she is great with children… I have 2 and I love our family portraits from her. It is hard to choose from her pictures since they are all beautiful. I would highly recommend Barbora to everybody who doesn’t want stiff posed photos but rather would enjoy moments in life captured by Barbora’s great eye. She is a gem to be discover here in the USA since she just recently relocated from Europe. Working with her is pure pleasure:)
