I loved this place. definitely would come back again. michelle n staphanie are both very nice n make u feel sooo comfortable. I like how they both share the joy of seeing the baby do cute things.

This is our second time going and we love it. Even when the baby doesn’t cooperate they still try their best and they don’t rush you out. They make you feel comfortable and always go above and beyond!

I had my gender reveal scan at this location on 8÷22÷15. I paid the higher package price for the 3D gender reveal because it was supposed to be more accurate. The sonographer gave me a bunch of «maybe a girl» «Probably a girl» but never said without a doubt the gender. We were told we could come back for a rescan with our package (never told we needed to schedule it at that visit). The package that we paid for, the sonographer didn’t even determine the gender using the 3D option. I called in to reschedule (hospitalized for a week an a half) and was told I would have to pay an additional fee of $ 29 to get a re-​scan… The sonographers aren’t as highly trained as they elude to on their website. The sonographer that did my scan wasn’t even familiar with a Nuchal Translucency scan. Their office is in a scary building that is poorly lit. The office smell like old fish and it was a generally unpleasant experience. They didn’t give me a copy of the contract I signed and unable to refer back to it all for the benefit of my sake. I have reported the charges to my credit card company since they were not willing to recheck like promised. Don’t go here, you aren’t actually saving money. I should have gone to A Baby Visit like my friends had suggested. Avoid this place.

We had an excellent experience here. After being disappointed by a cancelled gender reveal at our OBGYN, we called and they were able to give us an appointment for the same day. Kayla did the ultrasound and was excellent. She was very professional and it was clear that she knew what she was doing. We felt very confident in our results and the setting was very peaceful with no wait. I highly recommend this place. Had I known, I would have scheduled here before going through my OBGYN. We will definitely return for future ultrasounds.

I called every ultrasound place in San Diego county when I learned I was pregnant with baby number 2! I knew we wanted to do a gender reveal so the earlier we could find out the better! Out of every place I called the receptionist here was very sweet & knowledgable on the phone… informative & knew her stuff about the packages that would be best for our situation! They were able to get me in the day I wanted (short notice) & whatever time worked well for me which was so nice!
The day before they texted me reminding me of my appointment & giving me the address & specific directions which was a blessing! We got to the facility & was a little sketched out about the building, not bad just different. We showed up 20 minutes early due to excitement, the paperwork was super quick & the girls were great. They talked us in to doing the cheaper package because our baby was so little & all we wanted was gender. That was impressive right off the bat!
Our technician Kayla was great! So sweet, informative & just all around pleasant the entire time! She determined the sex right away & kept it a secret! We will be coming back! Thumbs up

I went in because we wanted to find out the gender of our baby. We choose to have the CD package for $ 58. We had an evening appointment. The office building outside seemed kinda sketchy, but once getting inside the building and to the second floor it was fine. The office is alot smaller than i imagined. But it was very clean. The receptionist was friendly, but talked way to much for my liking, in fact, she talked to us so much she forgot to put our CD in our CD case, so when i got home, excited to look at all my ultrasound pictures, there was no CD to be found. The package also included free samples of formula, which i also didn’t receive, but thats the least of my worries. Our ultrasound tech SHELLY was absolutely AMAZING!!! She didnt give up trying to find out the sex of our baby, even after the 15 minutes were up, she kept trying until she found our little boy!!! She did want us to come back for a recheck in a week because he was being a little stubborn and she just wanted to confirm it 100%, but she was almost positive it was a boy! She wanted to get us better pictures proving so, which i thought was very very very kind of her! She also said she would like to give us another CD of the recheck visit when we go. Which im happy about since the receptionist forgot to put ours into the CD case. We didnt receive our color prints this first visit either, we choose to save them for the recheck visit. overall my experience was good. It was a little of a drive for me. (30 minutes) but it was worth it to see SHELLY the ultrasound tech!!! ask for her if you want an amazing experience!!!

I came here to find out the gender at 13wks. The receptionist was so welcoming and friendly. The tech was running behind because some of the babies wasn’t cooperating. Shelley was awesome because she took her time and gave us a lot of print outs. My baby boy was so active and it was exciting to see him move. Shelley made sure it was a boy and show us everything. Thank you for the experience.

I have never written a Unilocal review, even had to download the app to write this one, but Baby’s first ultrasound and especially technicians Kayla and Shelly deserve it!
We went in yesterday (8 of us) on a Sunday at noon and the receptionist was so welcoming! We were so excited for our gender reveal. We met our technician Kayla who was AWESOME! Our baby was being difficult, sitting in a position she couldn’t get a clear picture of the gender so she tried for about 10 – 15 mins and asked if we had time to take a break and try again. Of course! So she suggested I walk up and down the stair well and drink some water. When we went back in after about 20 mins she was able to find the gender! She was just so great, my whole family loved her. We left with a heartbeat bear and 20 photos!
My husband accidentally thought the record button on the heartbeat was an on and off switch and recorded over the heartbeat. I called BAck and they were closing but got me an apt first thing the following day, which is how I met Shelly! Another amazing woman with great patience. She was very picky about getting a good heartbeat and she did!
Needless to say my experience was the best we could have asked for! They were patient, enthusiastic, and so pleasant. I would HIGHLY recommend both Shelly and Kayla!

Came in with my daughter last week for a 9:30 appointment. We were immediately welcomed and asked to come to the back on time. It was not long after it started that the baby started moving for us and we were able to verify that she is developing on track. Ten fingers and ten toes that we also got to see move. The heart rate almost seemed like surround sound! The heart was beating right on cue. The sonologist was accommodating and knew what she was doing. The parking was ample and the waiting room was clean. I truly enjoyed the whole experience. Thanks for a wonderful appointment ladies~

We had a really great visit. Michelle was our tech and she was so patient even when the baby was obscured. She let me walk around and come back to try again to see the face. She could have just said sorry and sent me home. Stephanie was the receptionist and she was so sweet and kind to us while we waited. If you had a bad ultrasound experience through your regular doctor, go here. It’s worth every penny and it makes it into a good memorable experience. You’re family can also join in on the experience and they make it fun and upbeat. I’ll be coming back again later in my pregnancy!

Go to «A Baby Visit» for your 4d ultrasound, we went there for our first child’s gender check and we couldn’t have been happier plus it’s only 2 blocks down the road from the crap hole that is Baby’s First Ultrasound. Babys First Ultrasound was gross, it smelled awful, was dirty, and the receptionist was the worst. The ultrasound room was not comfortable and there was a loud dehumidifier or fan running the whole time, we can hear it in the background of our babies recorded heartbeat that we bought for the teddy bear. I’m giving 2 stars vice 1 because my wife said she liked the tech, otherwise this place is a joke.

My first review would have been a NEGATIVE STAR if I had wrote it on Saturday when we first went.
Our first experience was a tech who didn’t really have the patience. We paid for the cd package, which included 4 prints, 60
Pictures on a cd, and a 15 minute 4D session. Our tech we got gave up after maybe ten minutes on trying to find the gender. She didn’t try any tricks on getting the baby to move. Which is okay I guess, sometimes the baby is just difficult. But then she quit, she showed us a 20 second preview of the 4D and told us we needed to schedule a gender recheck. Got home and our cd with pictures on it had 9. I didn’t even want to go back.
BUT we went back on a Monday and there was a cheery woman who welcomed us. There was a new tech there (Michelle), who came out into the waiting area to greet us! Shelley asked us if it was okay if she did our ultrasound. Baby was is a DIFFICULT spot. Michelle did all different kinds of things to get our baby to move and got some amazing shots! Shelley came in and got gender right away. ALSO they got us tons of pictures! Very happy with our second visit! Go on a Monday for Shelley, or a Saturday for Michelle. I wouldn’t recommend going any other days!

One of the worst experiences we had had. My wife and I came in at 35 weeks and we could not see anything. During the session the ultrasound lady told us that it is normally hard to see anything this late into the pregnancy and its best to come in before 30 weeks. Afterwards I tried to get a refund and the girl at the front desk said that the person who booked our appointment should have warned us that there is a good chance we wont be able to see anything. I then called the manager and all she was willing to do is bring us back in for another ultrasound for the same baby which makes no sense for us to do to.

Dont be confused the only reason this place is getting 4 stars is because of Shelly and honestly she deserves 5 stars shes awesome! The first time I went I had to return 3 times until I got Shelly to fix my gender check. Then for my return for the chubby baby pix I also had to return a second time to get Shelly again because the chick doing my ultrasound didn’t really know what she was doing and she farted during my secession! And blamed my baby for not getting good pictures. Now I am a medical professional and I understand that sometimes Babys are not in the right position. But that doesn’t mean you can at least get good finger an toes picture’s… I mean everything was blurry and we only got pictures of her spine. I was very disappointed, we returned for an appointment with Shelly and she fixed everything and even got my baby to turn for a few face pictures… she really knows what shes doing not to mention she makes the whole experience so much more fun with her fun personality! Sadly shes only there on Mondays! So if you schedule an appointment here make sure to request Shelly on Monday. Or your wasting your money. and the building they’re located in is also kinda shady the elevator is always rickety, so prepare yourself for that!

DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY or TIME. Expectations vs reality is a pregnant woman’s dream killer. Staff is horrible. Pictures are horrible and nothing like advertised.
Been 3 times, always optimistic, and paid all this money to see just an unfocused hand. Now I’m 31 weeks and have no chance of replacing 4d images for this pregnancy. I guess I can compare a nice picture of my sons unfocused hand to his real hand when he is born in august. So exciting.

It doesn’t get much worse, sorry.
Made an appointment which they sent a text message reminder for. Showed up 15 or so minutes early, and was told they were 20 minutes behind. I said a phone call would have been nice, or, ahem
, a quick text heads up, but we waited. The AC wasn’t working and it was easily close to 80 degrees in the waiting room. We waited until 50 minutes after our appointment to be seen, after the receptionist had knocked on the door twice, and I asked to call a manager. They charged me full price before I went in, which would be fine if it had gone well, but irritating because of the wait, and what happened next.
I’ve had 5 ultrasounds, including one at this location before, so I feel comfortable with realistic expectations as far as images. The imachine wasn’t working. The tech mentioned tough babies that weren’t cooperating, and the the machine went out earlier; we could tell immediately that the resolution was way off in the machine. Nothing was remotely clear, it was a slow moving, grainy, blurry mess. Even the tech admitted it after we asked her if she was happy with the images the machine was taking. She wasn’t happy, either.
What was meant for a surprise for my husband was a complete waste of two hours. Not even one picture was usable. We left empty handed and that was that. They didn’t even argue that there was a useable photo. There wasnt.

Terrible. For starters the place is extremely ghetto from the building down to the furniture but of course being on a budget the price caught my eye. Go into the room and the tech seemed to have no clue what she was doing and surprise surprise, the «4D» portion wasn’t working. She «tried» for an hour with no luck. I understand that things happen but I am extremely busy so when they offered to reschedule I had to decline and ask for a refund. They tried to refuse me a refund because it’s their policy. Sorry but it wasn’t my fault your machine wasn’t working and I was unable to come back when you wanted me to. I definitely recommend spending $ 10 more and go to «A Baby Visit» down the street. They got me in right away, much better atmosphere, much more comfortable and they clearly knew what they were doing!

First of all i paid $ 130 dollars to not even get a picture of my baby. The technician talked so quietly no one even knew what was going on. I was so upset and all they got was a picture of my baby’s eye. They THEN said hey want to come back and pay $ 30. No I don’t want to pay extra for something you guys should have given me to begin with. I was okay with it though and didn’t pursue the issue because it wasn’t the technicians fault that my baby was in my hip. Even though every other ultrasound place schedules a time to come back for free if you don’t get a picture.
But today I woke up and my stomach is bruised from her pushing too hard on me with the machine. I am beyond upset. She could have hurt my child and who knows if she did. I DEMAND my money back and I will call tomorrow when they are open and if they say no I will go in there. A technician should know to be more careful than to bruise someone’s stomach. I am so upset.

Came here for a family member’s ultrasound. Great way to meet the little princess. 4D is the way to go. =)
Staff were cheerful. The viewing room was like a movie theater, but better — with beds for mom & dad situated right next to each other (so they can hold hands). And, recliner chairs/​stadium seating for families/​friends.
Price was comparible to other ultrasound locations I’ve been to.

Shelley is awesome! I went with an old friend in the past and that how I met Shelley.
I went to see Shelley in 09 for a gender prediction and the 10 to see what our little man looks like.
Our most recent visit was in nov and we’re having a girl!
Shelley is very passionate and you can tell she absolutely loves her job!
I drive down from Oceanside just to see her! We have a place I can go to in San Marcos, but I rather see Shelley!
