I love this place. I took me awhile to find a mechanic who I trust with reasonable prices. Bao is a great, honest guy. He has your best interest in mind. I’ve been taking my car here for two years and I have always had a good experience. Bao is one of the best in San Diego. I can’t recommend a better place to trust with your car.

Came in for an oil change for my integra and realized I needed 2 new tires due to wire showing.

Bao has been taking care of my car for a while. He used to be at another shop and I followed him to this new location even though it’s nowhere near where I live anymore because I’ve always received good customer service. I don’t know much about cars, but I do know every time I bring my car here, they fix it and I never have issues, so I know they’re honest. I have never had anything majorly wrong with my car, just basic maintenance, and my car is 16 years old so they must be doing something right.
They never pressure me to do anything more than what I come in for. Bao does make suggestions, but never in any kind of salesmen type of way. Basic suggestions like when it’s time to change my brake pads or if I should be getting an oil change soon.
I always shop around before I need to get any maintenance done, and every time they’ve always been the most reasonably priced, so I really don’t know why I even bother shopping around still. I’ll always bring my car here, thanks for always taking care of me!

This place rocks!!! My Toyota is now a senior citizen with over 150K and I’m pulling away from the dealers. I had major things done to my SUV and saved a grip from the local dealerships quotes. Bao and Thai and very nice guys and are very skilled in their line of work. Thank you again for a job well done.

I highly recommend this place. They are professional, honest and good pricing. When u go there, ask for Bao. He’s friendly, easy going and very attentive. You can always talk to him about your problems with THE CAR that is!. He put customers on top of his priority list and get the car done in a timely matter. I had a couple problems with my car n I hate going to a mechanic, but This place Makes me feel comfortable and they are honest. I went there a couple times and they always make sure I’m aware of the problems n the costs before they fix my car.

Wow, this is my second time coming here and I feel as if this place gets friendlier and faster every time. Found this place by Unilocal.They had good ratings so i wanted to give them a try, and believe me, when you see 5 stars on Unilocal,they don’t lie. First time I came here was just for a regular oil change. I have a european car so it’s sometimes hard to find knowledgeable and honest people to work on my baby. Not to mention careful. They do Japanese cars also. So first I called to get a quote and made an appointment. Right when i got there I was treated with a friendly staff. Took my keys, work on my car, and i was out. Too good to be true I first thought. But now my second time coming, i had to replace my wheel rotors and added some extra things to my car. I know they were busy cause they had a lot of cars pulled up but I feel as if they know how to manage and sort out the ones they can finish the fastest just for the customers sake just to keep them from waiting long. Wow talk about considerate! This will be my final one stop shop for my BM until I have this car. Already made my next appointment for a tune-​up! Stop by this place, you won’t regret it!

I’ve been here multiple times for work on my 2005 s2000. Even after moving to Temecula, I take the extra drive down to San Diego to have work done on my car. I’ve taken my car to the shops around Temecula and they all cost more. Bao was able to get things fixed for less. Even had them installed my new exhaust. Friendly service and very professional. Highly recommended.

Where do I begin… Bao you are an Angel and I have not stopped recommending your services to all of my associates. I have a 2006 Honda Accord and she is my Baby! My car has never had to have extensive work done but like most women I just drove her and drove her and then she said no more! Took her to Bao and she needed a lot work but he broke it down from the «needs now to the it can wait» and who does that for a lady? Ended up my car needed a new intake manifold and a couple other items and needles to say it ran over two grand and was there for a week. I was given a loaner vehicle to use rather than getting a rental again who does that? I had this work done back in February and did not realize I hadn’t left what an amazing experience I had so it’s never too late, right? My girl is running beautifully and FAST! I can take my vehicle in anytime I’m not sure about a sound or if I just have a question. Who can a girl trust besides her Dad? Bao that’s who!

I always come here to get my oil change and the typical wait time is 15 – 30 minutes. Also had my transmission replaced here as well and was given a competitive price and warranty period (labor included).

Bao is an amazing person to be around with when it comes to being an honest mechanic is very rare to come by one. Bao been working on my bmw for the past 6 years now been a loyal customer since day one. Not only did he do under my hood he also repainted my whole car body and replaced my bumpers my car stay running new and the body looks amazing Never again will I ever go to an over priced disloyal and dishonest mechanic ever again ppl try to charge me $ 145 for an oil change with the filter B. Them around 455 and new the shop was closing at 5 bao said just come through we take care of you so you don’t have to stress about it tomorrow, they went the extra mile, even did my brakes and bought my tires there best deal in town, love these guys

I came here on a Saturday morning for their smog check special. I was told the wait would be an hour and a half, maybe two hours. I said that was fine and proceeded to wait in their lobby. About 5 minutes into waiting, they came up to me and told me that my car would fail the test because, «Your check engine light is on and your car is misfiring. Didn’t you notice?». Absolutely not. My car was very smooth and there was no light on the dash. I was told that I need a tuneup in order for me to pass and to clear the check engine light. I asked for an estimate since this was a complete shock for me. Literally a check engine light appeared when I handed them my keys. Very ironic.
The estimate was about $ 650+ for ignition coils and spark plug replacement with labor. I told them I wouldn’t pay this now and that I’m going to take my car home. When I got home, I turned my car off and back on, and when my car restarted my car, the light went away. I went online and purchased a cheap OBD II scanner and cleared the engine code. Drove it for two days, my car was ready for a smog check and my scanner was not showing any codes. I went to a test only station on a Saturday, waited 15 minutes in total, and passed without any problems.
While I do not suspect foul play, I find it very ironic that the cheapest place to get a smog check told me I needed $ 650 plus in repairs, while a test only station (which costs a little more for a smog check) was able to pass my car with no problems. Like I said, I find it very ironic that my car got a check engine light the moment I handed my keys over to them. I had to get a second opinion, and for a smog check, you should not have to get a second opinion. Unless the stars were aligned and my car did indeed happen to misfire right on the spot, I would recommend for anybody that is looking for just a smog check to go to a test only station. You’ll get a professional unbiased opinion by a technician who cannot do any repairs.

A friend recommended this place because of their $ 10 oil change. My mom just bought a new used car and we decided to bring it in for an oil change. The shop is clean, has a big screen tv and wifi. A mechanic name Bao, was helping us. We told him that we just bought the car and we would like an inspection of the car to see if the car was on it’s tip top condition. Bao showed us the problems of the car afterwards. The cost of the repairs was amazingly cheap! So we decided to fix some of the most important repairs first for now. They even have a courtesy car! So me and my mom did errands, mean while they was fixing our car. Awesome place!!!

He even gave me a race car free oil change — (since my car is an m3 it requires race car oil) — the place had snacks at the front in a nice jar — and they fixed an issue with my car when it came to aftermarket parts that other shops could not fix — ¹⁰⁄₁₀ experience — they also gave me a Acura Integra replacement while my car was being fixed which I was very pleased about bcos the car runs great and got me from point A to B in a smooth matter if i must say haha

I walked in for a smog check only, passed and was outta there in 45 minutes. 5 star for my needs.
It could not have been easier. And they are very friendly.

I have been taking my car for repair over the last two years. They are very efficient and polite.
Additionally, I got the courtesy loaner car and did not have to pay for that, it is a big PLUS.

Bao helped fix my cars for more than a year now. Reasonable charges and great service. I never had problem after repair work is done. Bao gives you honest estimates and fix only required things.

After filing my taxes, I had this new found desire /​desperate need to find the lowest rates on all things money related… (yes, state tax kicked me in the buttocks)
The fact that I have a new car and need to pay extra $ to get synthetic oil changes did not help my current state, so I went onto groupon to try and find deals but most of them were unreasonable (3 oil changes in 6 months? i mean who’s gonna need this unless you’re driving cross country?! but, i digress…)
Then one day, i was scrolling through the pages of the pennysaver and found B.T. Auto Wrench! The rate they offered for synthetic oil change, $ 37 all included, is cheaper than any of the ones listed in groupon, and trust me, i called them All.
So with my pennysaver in hand, i headed down to B.T. Auto Wrench. I really didn’t expect much considering this was the lowest oil change price i could find, but I was beyond impressed with the customer service and the speed of service.
All in all, a well deserved 5-​star rating on Unilocal!
