I didn’t realize that he has an international accredition which not all realtors have. Since I moved to the US from out of the country, I know how difficult that process can be. It is nice to know someone like David is around to help with every detail in buying a hours.

David is AWESOME! We have worked with David off and on for almost 5 years to find a house in San Diego. We would meet with David, see what was on the market, go look, and then never make an offer. Finally the third time we called David to «just look» at what was on the market we found a house in Oak Park we loved. Words cant describe how valuable David was in finding a home. Unlike other my previous realtor that I used to buy my first home, David listens to your needs instead of his own when looking for a home. His professionalism and personal character to do whats in the best interest of his clients is not only genuine, but far above others. David perfectly balances his follow up /​communication so that you know he wants to do whats best for you without being annoying or pushy. I only wish that more people in sales (real estate, auto, business, etc) were like him. I rarely if ever write a review on Unilocal,but David’s level of client centric focus is astounding. David did a fantastic job marketing our home! We actively listed our home the week in January 2016 that had the big rain storm. On the worst day of the storm we had around 12 buyers and ended up with multiple offers. The second day of showings we had more buyers and more offers. It got to the point that offers were being revised to compete with offers coming in, which drove our sale price above asking (nice!). We ended up entering escrow after 3 days on the market.
David helped us get our home ready for sale by recommending Beppie Mostert from Living Design Interiors, LLC, to help us know how to stage our home to stand out, and then by bringing in a professional photographer for marketing pictures. When we went live it was very professional and looked fantastic!
The escrow process went relatively smooth considering we needed to do some repairs, move out, and tent the house for termites all while moving to the East Coast. Escrow closed on schedule.
We would highly recommend David for the sale of your home. His marketing techniques exceed others, and they work!

My husband and I bought a condo when the market was really high back in 2007. Fast forward to now and we had outgrown it and moved on to a larger house but could never sell the condo due to the market conditions, and thus rented it out. Truth be told we were not fans of being landlords, and so we reached out to various realtors to see our options. When all other realtors heard we were interested in selling «hopefully in the near future» their response was always the same: «get back to me when you’re ready to sell.» Then we met David Demangos, and we were hooked instantly! Not only did David stay in contact with us until the market became favorable (over a year!), he continuously sent us market updates and other resources to help us decide when the time was right. In that time he never once pressured us and always was available to talk and answer our questions. When we did decide it was time, David was flawless at getting all the things in order and getting our condo sold quickly for what we needed. Buying your first home is a very time consuming and scary process. You definitely don’t want to complicate the ordeal by getting a real estate agent who isn’t right for you. There are a multitude of choices out there in San Diego for you to choose from, but that also means there are many bad agents you could end up working with. After my first encounter with Dave, I was very impressed by his level of knowledge within the region as well as his level of professionalism. It was obvious right away he was not one of those bad agents.
I am always super busy with work — travelling for many weeks at a time — often letting it make me a little edgy, so the when I’d get the initial calls from Dave, I thought them to be a little annoying. I quickly learned that his calls would either be updating me on his work for me, or letting me know things I should be doing. This was actually a huge help and soon I was relieved to have such a professional working for me. Throughout the whole process, Dave was funny and courteous — and it was clear that he cared. Any sense of him getting a commission from the sale was never felt from my end, and any issues I had with properties he was very to-​the-​point and honest. It really, really helps.
Overall, Dave made this search work with my schedule. I don’t know if I would be typing this review from my house (which I love, by the way) if Dave wasn’t my agent. I could’ve gotten disenchanted with the process and time commitment, but luckily that was not the case. Every bit of advice and help (mobile app, website, homebuyer recommendations) goes a long way to making you feel comfortable and Dave provides you all of that. I highly recommend Dave Demangos, and if I had a greater knowledge real-​estate, I might go so far to label him the best real-​estate agent in San Diego. I’ll confidently say he is one of the best and that he will go out of his way to make your decision a great one.
