The absolute most reliable service I have found to the SAN and LAX. They have shown up on time every time. On one trip I had to change flights and forgot to notify them. They tracked my flight down and were right there.

I had a similar experience to Jessica W. I purchased a groupon for my trip to the airport which was a good experience the driver was polite and professional. I purchased a second groupon for my return trip, when the driver picked me up he said I should not use my group on because he only gets $ 20 out of the trip. The only cash I had on me was enough for tip since I had already purchased the I didnt need anymore cash than that, he said he would take me to an ATM to pay him cash for the trip.
So I still have a groupon and paid more that what was advertised. Other than this incident i enjoyed the ride, but I will not use them again out of principle, if you do not like accepting groupon’s than do not use groupons and disappoint your customers.

If I could give negative stars, I would. Bought a $ 39 groupon that said it included an airport pickup anywhere within 15 miles. Our hotel was 8.3 miles. The driver advised up that because they only get $ 20 of the group in purchase that we owe him the additional $ 25 in cash. Cash only. My 3 girlfriends and myself were not allowed to get out of the car until we paid the extra money. Most uncomfortable situation ever. The driver couldn’t explain why this extra money was required. This company is a scam. We’ve reported this company and their scam to groupon. Please do not use this company!!!

Avoid this company. We booked a round trip airport ride and paid for it in advance. They managed to get us to the airport but did not show up to bring us home. We were stranded at the airport with a child, a cat, and a ton of luggage. We called and called and they neither answered the phone nor returned our many messages. They never called to apologize either. I would never ever do business with them.

With a $ 39 Groupon, it cost me an additional $ 36 out of pocket for a private Aventine Limousine ride from the airport to Solana Beach. This included taxes and tip plus a surcharge for the 6 miles past the Groupon advertised 15-​mile radius ride. Could I have gotten something cheaper? Possibly, but I was surprised and quite happy with the quality of service received on this trip.
Since this is the first time I used them, I was leery of Aventine’s reliability after reading the other reviews on Unilocal,so as my plane taxied to the gate at Lindbergh’s Terminal 2, I was very pleased to turn on my phone and see a text message from my driver, Fouad, that included a personal phone number to call when I was ready to be picked up. I had added my flight info to my reservation and my driver tracked my flight knowing it was set to arrive 20 minutes early. He arranged to meet me at curbside pickup and got to me within 10 minutes of my arrival in a spotless, brand new Chrysler 300. The car had GPS so I didn’t need to give him directions to my home. The driver was courteous and got me home directly, overall the entire experience was fast, 30 minutes from first contact with Fouad to walking in my front door.
I know this is only one data point, but I would consider using them again.

Do not — I repeat. DO NOT USE AVENTINE. We booked a one way ride home from the airport and they never showed and never answered the phone. This is after confirming and taking money. HORRIBLE
