Auto Armour – Clear Bra

Evan & Co. have clear bra’d my last 4 cars and every time it’s been spot on perfect. Not only was it totally worth it to protect the paint, but recently with my M3 and 991 TTS, Auto Armour applied Xpel’s stealth clear bra material and it provided an eye popping satin look. What I love about Auto Armour is that they stand behind the products they install and the install work itself. If there is an issue with any of the film, Evan doesn’t hesitate to fix it and doesn’t find excuses to avoid correcting fixable imperfections. At the end of the day, lots of shops use the same films and quality of materials, but it’s almost always the skill of the installer and the customer service that will separate the «wheat from the chafe» as the famous saying goes. I’ve sent numerous friends and colleagues to Auto Armour and will continue to use them and recommend them.

These guys really helped me out by taking off a disastrous clear bra job on my BMW M3 and putting on a front end kit themselves CORRECTLY. And Because the clear bra was recently done by a bad shop, Evan and his guys gave me a break on the labor costs to uninstall the old clear bra.
It was interesting to see a bad clear bra job compared to a good one back to back on the same car. A bad clear bra job is most evident at the corners and around the edges. My first one was poorly trimmed which allowed for overhang and contributed to premature peeling. The poorly installed clear bra also lacked adequate amounts of adhesive promoter.
The installation by Auto Armour had none of those issues and was virtually undetectable (the way clear bra should be). It looks great! I’m much more happy with the installation by Evan and his guys than I was with the work done by the other shop. He was also kind enough to fix my carbon fiber splitters on my bumper that were a bit loose. Auto Armour is a great business with a proficient owner. I highly recommend them.

I brought my brand new 2015 Audi R8 straight from the dealership to Auto Armour and had them do a full body Xpel clear bra. The work was absolutely flawless and it was done quickly and efficiently. The entire team was amazing and kept me updated throughout the whole process. Evan pays an incredible attention to detail and took the time to make sure every corner was perfect and there weren’t any bubbles or imperfections. Honestly couldn’t have asked for a better job and will definitely bring more cars in the future. Thank you to the whole Auto Armour team!

Numerous members from the Audi club of San Diego have had their Clear bras done by Evan at Auto Armour. Due to club recommendations I brought my Audi RS5 to Evan to install a clear bra on the entire front of the car.
Evan has a very high level of attention to detail — I would hope so considering he is also a former Marine — and will put more time and effort into doing an install than most installers would. For most, if not all, bumpers he will do a 1-​piece clearbra. Whereas many installers will do the bumper in 2 or 3 separate pieces (which is easier) as what happened to my previous 2012 Audi S4, which I got done somewhere else.
I know for a fact that Evan constantly works on many high end cars, including Veyrons. If Symbolic Motors entrusts their multi-​million dollar cars to Evan, then I would think any car that you bring in would be in good hands.
