Absolutely wonderful. My son has been attending training for two weeks now and he loves it. The instructors are knowledgable and best of all they are both excellent in communicating with the younger children. My son is five years old and his character was wonderful before the training but it has gotten even better after only two weeks! I can’t wait for him to continue on and working towards the next belt skill level. Great place. Highly recommend it to anyone with kids. Wish I had more free time to the training as an adult.

We have been to two karate places for my five year old. This one is much better. The instructors are nice, patient and supportive. My son loves it and cannot wait to go twice a week. He is also learning discipline and to help others. For our family the flexible hours, great leadership and pure fun are well worth any fee. We learned you get what you pay for.

My daughter wanted to try out Karate, so I took her to this place. The instructor was nice, but did not want to quote the fee. He tried to downplay that he was going to teach Tae Kwan Do instead of Karate which my daughter was interested in, but we thought«no matter». Since she was a beginner, she could only join the«mixed» group classes. I say mixed because the ability of individuals in a class varies greatly. My daughter tried two classes, she said it wasn’t too bad, and then I signed her up. The initiation was a whopping $ 150. You get one uniform out of it, but that’s it. Monthly dues are also $ 150, and if you do the math, at 9 classes a month, it comes to $ 16.50 an hour, and that’s in a group of 15. I frankly think it’s just too much. My daughter stayed with it for two months, and then she lost interest because: 1. Every time someone new signed up, they’d all have to do the real beginner stuff again 2. There was too much focus on talking(clean your room) etc. and not much on learning new stuff I didn’t want to pay $ 150 a month unless she was really happy with it, so I canceled after 3 months. If you live in 4-S Ranch, it is conveniently located and class times are practical(after Elementary school closes). I personally think this place was overpriced and learning was slow. First two classes are free, so you may want to find for yourself. There are plenty other Martial Arts places near 4-S Ranch, including one at and more in RB or Carmel Mountain Ranch.
