I stopped by because they had a first time visit deal I didn’t know what to expect going to someone new I was really scared at first and she talked me through it which made it easier and the wax they have is good quality it was the least painful brazilian I’ve ever got and the prices are a big plus

i get waxed by Theresa and she has the best hands she is so quick, and gentle the spa is comfortable, always super clean.
Theresa is very nice always makes nice conversation, she is truly caring! and the best part the prices, they have this deal if you book within 4 weeks every waxing session they discount it so instead of 50 ish the service is like 30.
and they also book directly though text !! I constantly work during the day so having the convenience to book over text is the best.

Since I had my first appointment with Angelica over a year ago I’ve never gone anywhere else! Angelica and Teresa are both quick, efficient, and friendly and the flexibility of appointment times is a huge plus. Love this team and I highly recommend them!

I am so incredibly grateful for Angelica and Teresa! I hope this review will help others looking for talented aestheticians to help with all of their skin care and waxing needs.
This month marks one year since I started seeing Angelica for facials. My skin struggles with painful and embarrassing adult acne, and I honestly don’t know what I would have done had I not found Angelica after I moved to San Diego (crawled into a hole and cried??). Angelica and Teresa are both incredibly knowledgeable in skin care. They have helped me with with tips from skin care products to makeup as well as adjustments to the services I should be scheduling with them to get the best results for my skin. I go around once a month for an enzyme facial, which works wonders for my skin, as well as my confidence.
After a few months of seeing Angelica for facials I decided to see what all the Brazilian waxing hype was about… While I will admit that the first time was painful (it gets SO MUCH better after the first time), Angelica was very professional, quick, and natural about the whole process. She made me feel comfortable by chatting with me and keeping my mind from giving into my wimpy-​ness. Months later I still go in for my periodic Brazilian from either Angelica or Teresa as they are both fantastic.
Another great thing about Angelica B. Beauty is that they run periodic package deals for existing clients. If you’re going to go in for facials, Brazilians, or brow waxes anyway it’s so nice to be able to get a discount!

Angelica is great! I went in for a wax after a long break, because my last visit elsewhere was the most painful wax i’d had, not to mention I was covered in ingrowns from the experience. Angelica was efficient and the least painful wax, I think I’ve ever had! She was thorough but quick and took the time to follow up a couple days after the treatment to make sure things were going well. This is definitely my new place to get a wax and I’ll make sure anytime asks for a referral, I direct them here!

Angelica is the absolute best! I never even hoped that the least expensive waxer available would also be amazing, but she is. And she has specials and promotions all the time on top of that. I went to her to re-​up my Brazilian for the first time in years. She did my Brazilian, upper legs, and even my lip all in about a half hour, but it didn’t feel like I was being rushed, just going quick to get it over. She is friendly and did a great job chatting to distract me from the inevitable pain that comes with ripping hair out. She does manage to make it far less painful through speed and skill. Being able to text for appointments is great, and she’s very responsive. She even texted a couple days after my appointment to see how it all was. I can NOT recommend her enough! But please. Don’t tell everyone though, I need her available to wax me for the foreseeable future!

I have been going to Angelica for several months now and I find her professional, polite, and her prices to be fair. I have also been waxed a few times from Teresa. Her room is somewhat small but she sets a nice, relaxing mood and I really love her choice of décor. I would recommend checking out her salon!

Angelica has awesome reviews and uses a combination of strip & hard wax, depending on the sensitivity of the area bring waxed.

I’m writing an updated review with 5 stars as I hoped I could! After that initial rough first time, I can say that Angelica is pretty great. She’s moved, and the new location is cute — but the waiting area is outside, so be aware of that. (The photo is the new location.)
Angelica’s waxing is top notch, she’s very thorough, and accommodating with how you position yourself. This really goes a long way to feeling comfortable!
My favorite thing is scheduling online. In this day and age, if you don’t have a way to make appointments online, or via text, I’m going to choose businesses who do. Thanks for that convenience, Angelica!

Wow! I just moved to the University Heights neighborhood and found Angelica on Unilocal,and couldn’t be happier! Initially I found her online appointment system to be a bit confusing when booking multiple services at once, but she went above and beyond getting me scheduled and confirming our appointment. I didn’t see her previous studio space as she had just moved, but this one is beautiful and comfortable and made me feel at ease going into a new environment where you’ll inevitably be exposing quite a bit of yourself, haha.
I couldn’t believe how quick and painless (!!!) my Brazilian wax was, and I’m even more impressed at how well my skin reacted as it’s very sensitive. Angelica checked in on me the next day to make sure I wasn’t having any irritation and I was just overall thrilled with the experience!

The best service, pricing, and a darling salon. Angelica does a phenomenal job — clean, precise, and painless. The pricing is great and the loyalty program is a plus. The studio is very clean and so cute.
I have been seeing Angelica for all my waxing needs since 2012. I’ve tried so many waxing salons and they are overpriced and do a lousy job. I moved to Orange County in 2014 and still plan trips to San Diego around the time I’m due for a wax. Angelica is THAT good.
She has always been very accommodating, which I’ve appreciated since I have a hectic work schedule. She’s a wonderful person and really great at her job. I recommend Angelica B Beauty to all!

I’ve been seeing Angelica on and off (off because I’m lazy and forget to go in!) for about 2yrs for waxing and recently facials/​peels and I can’t believe I haven’t ever given her a revew! Because she’s great!
As far as waxing goes, she is efficient, clean and quick! And about as pain free as you can be with having your hair ripped out! but really she’s great and you can’t beat the price.
In regards to facials and peels; I’m obsessed! I’ve been having some texture and pigmentation issues that I’ve been dealing with for the past year and since I’ve started seeing her she has changed my skin for the better! I can wear less makeup, feel more confident and my skin has regained «that glow»!
Lastly the space itself. Aesthetics are important to me. I like to go be in a beautiful space and she nailed it with this new studio. It’s modern, intimate and impeccably clean. I love it! Like I could live there love it!

My first experience with Angelica on the phone was really harsh not kind she even wrote me back to apologize for her attitude so I decided to go back to Angelica and try one more time seemed nice and pleasant when I arrived once I was on the table and she was putting the wax on I told her the wax is too hot. She said well it has to be hot or else I can’t spread it. If I’m telling you that the wax is TOO HOT don’t give me attitude and make me feel uncomfortable. You have to turn it down if it’s too hot for my skin and burning me. So she stopped and said get out.
I don’t suggest this place for anyone.

Fast and easy, not even painful after the 1^st brazilian wax if you continue to go every 4 to 6 weeks. love it here especially since it’s only 5 minutes away from my house
