Dr. Andrew Huttenhoff is committed to maintaining the decades long tradition that is the Family Eyecare practice in Scripps Ranch, California. Dr. Huttenhoff has been providing exceptional eye care to patients for many years and has specialized in managing patients with diabetes, glaucoma, and other various eye conditions. He is also very experienced with difficult to fit contact lenses. The optical continues the tradition of carrying an impressive array of quality frames and sunglasses.

Business Owner

Dr. Andrew Huttenhoff graduated with honors from Southern California College of Optometry in 2003 where he received multiple scholarships including the Dr. Reynaldo Carreon Jr. Memorial Scholarship. He mentored for several years under renowned corneal specialist, Dr. Charles Flowers. Some of his most valuable experience came from his training at The Center for Partially Sighted in Santa Monica, California, The Eye Care Associates of Nevada and his work with the Pima Indians struggling with diabetes on a reservation in Sacaton, Arizona. During his time in San Diego, Dr. Huttenhoff has worked in medical offices with a high population of kids, and is very proficient at performing a comprehensive children’s eye exam.

This wide breadth of experience and knowledge is what Dr. Huttenhoff brings to the office everyday. He is passionate about serving his patients with the highest quality of treatment available and enjoys a comfortable and respectful relationship with the patients and staff
