Although I do perform various hair services including, but not limited to: Special Occasions (prom, weddings, parties, etc.), Updos, Sets (wet and dry), Relaxers, Deep Conditioning Treatments, Cuts and Trims. I also provide beauty services such as Eyebrow Waxing, Eyebrow Tints, and Make Up Application.

My primary focus is You! It is important to me that every client is given the V.I.P treatment and has an exceptional experience at Ah La Mode Designs.

Established in 2010.

The owner of Ah La Mode Designs, Candace, has been creating sophisticated hair styles for many years. She began her career modeling in the fashion industry and soon recognized that her interest lies behind the scenes, creating the perfect hairstyles for the runway. Along this journey, Candace has honed her skills by participating in hair shows, fashion shows, photo shoots, and constructing chic looks for special occasions. In addition to developing cutting edge skills, Candace has cultivated lasting relationships with many clients that have transitioned into friendships. At this point, Ah La Mode Designs is growing and welcoming new clients like you.

Hey guys! My name is Candace & I’m a licensed cosmetologist, currently working at Gean Marshall Salon in Rancho Bernardo. Occasionally, I work out of a salon studio located in Fashion Valley. In case you’re wondering about the name of my business, «à la mode» in French, means: stylish or fashionable. This name is a perfect fit for my work philosophy, because I enjoy creating stylish, yet very wearable hair designs. I ensure that every hair style is chic, fashionable, and most importantly promotes healthy hair. When I’m not in the hair salon, I serve as a visual merchandiser for multiple brands. In this position, I’ve worked with Carol’s Daughter, Lucky Brand Jeans, Juicy Couture, Ouidad, and more. If want to know more about me feel free to send me a message.
