Easy to schedule appointments because they double book! Was glad to be able to get in within the week but was sorry I even went. I waited 1.5hours for my appointment and then was told my insurance will not cover the cost of the medication. So of course I paid. I should have know better and done my research. They charge me 3 times as much for the medications and come to find out, I could have got them on Amazon.(It was over the counter) The building is old, so low overhead. Parking is horrible. Male Nurse was not nice and the skin treatment that he did was poorly done. No one introduced themselves, Dr. Shega was trying to be nice but everything was so rushed. The place was so chaotic. Charts were stacked everywhere, there was no desk space in the back nursing area. Just really poorly managed. Dr. Shega was recommended by friends but I would rather pay for a facial from a medspa. They would at least have treated me better. I highly DONOT recommend going to this Dermatologist.

I have been coming here for treatment a whole entire year for a burn wound on my cheek! Dr. Shega is patient and friendly, but I’m not sure if all of his treatment options were the best for me! He usually chats with me during my treatments and he is always quick because there is always a long line outside! They officially open at 9am, but first appt starts at 8:50am! He or any of the nurses have never explained any procedures to me before any of my treatments or biopsies! I cannot stand that male nurse!!! He was rough and I’m pretty sure the scar I have on my face is actually from him rather than my actual wound! The indentation appeared after he performed the shave biopsy for me! After that, I refused to have him touch my face again!!! DONOTLETHIMTOUCHYOU!!! The insurance/case manager there was super nice and helpful!!! :))) I love her! The office is really old school… All the examination rooms were old and they desperately need a upgrade!!! The office is, however, located in a centered location right off of the 163 fwy!

Do not go here! All the prices are higher than what was quoted over the phone, and they could not do a simple cosmetic procedure without nickel and diming us — wanting hundreds more than expected. We just paid the $ 92 office visit for spending 10 minutes with the doctor after waiting 30 minutes past our appointment time. Also, the office smells like cigarette smoke. That should have been our first clue to get out of there quickly! Everything seemed dirty and run down as well.

True, Dr. Shega’s office could really use a complete, modern renovation, but he is a great dermatologist. He and his nurses are competent, concerned, & Dr. Shega is willing to think outside the box for treatment. What other doctors assumed was a nail fungus, he actually scraped & examined — turns out it was a bacteria & was cleared up by a compounding pharmacy Rx. I trust Dr. Shega & his medical team, and wouldn’t go anywhere else for dermatological problems.

This place is terrible. I would highly recommend not to go here unless you would like to waste your time and money. I have been three times with no results on what is wrong with my finger and no medicine prescribed for my finger. I was told to just use the medicine on my finger that was prescribed for my eczema, which made my finger worse. I also have a little eczema under my eye and was prescribed medicine that read, «Do not apply on face.» The office is so dated and I was pulled into an office that had folders everywhere that it made me concerned for my personal information. I also waited for an hour on my first visit and I was not alone. I spoke to a woman in the waiting room who was just as aggravated as myself. They always have appointments available but please do yourself a favor and do not go here.

Cannot express how happy I was that I picked Dr. Shega for my scalp problem. I looked at various reviews for various dermatologists, called up a couple and ended up picking Dr. Shega due to popularity and reviews. He was very very nice! Not only was Dr. Shega friendly, all the other employees were very friendly as well! They answered all my questions on insurance and cost(which was affordable), and any other questions I had. I had a great experience here despite my worries over my hair loss/scalp issue. The shot I had to get was painful, but Dr. Shega helped me calm down and chill out: D The wait wasn’t bad at all either :) Love this place, can’t wait to see Dr. Shega in 2 weeks for another shot!
