My boyfriend and I have been coming here for about two years now and we love Toni! She’s super friendly and it’s never a shitty time getting tattooed by her. I plan on getting a full sleeve and it will definitely be done by Toni. Definitely recommend her!

If I could give this place 0 stars, believe me I would. Unfortunately I have to give 1 star, because apparently the people or shall I say «person» clearly does not know how to spell, even the simplest word «ONLY»…this «tattoo artist» spelt «OLNY» yeah, horrible right? Well honestly my bf who has this ridiculously misspelt word on his arm for life now went back to KINDLY show what I we had noticed to the guy who tatted him. We were greeted VERY rudely from the start & the second we showed & mentioned it to this person they were COMPLETELY RUDE to us. Instead he chose to blame my bf for not checking the spelling which not to mention English is not his first language as to this artist who is obviously a white American. So as he proceeded to put the blame on someone else & clearly didn’t give a shit. I decided not to either & basically told him how I felt. We did not go to him with any hostility, in which case we could have. We just wanted to know if he would help, but he had the UGLIEST attitude anyone could have in a situation like this & THAT is why I’m here to warn others to be careful if you are thinking of getting work done here. No one should ever feel the way this person made my bf feel. Unacceptable & inconsiderate. PLEASE BE WARNED.

Walked in to get my nose pierced on a Friday afternoon, surprisingly was the only customer in the shop and got in right away. Staff was super chill and very helpful. Carol explained everything before starting and made sure the hole was marked in the right spot well before starting — no matter how long it took to mark and remark my nose. Was a great experience and I even got a quote for my next tattoo. Maybe not the cheapest place for tattoos but that’s not the worst thing in the world– I at least know they are excellent at what they do and take their work very seriously!

It’s a little bit difficult to find, but worth it! I was in the Kearny Mesa area and wanted to switch out my nose stud for a nose hoop. I found this little gem!
When I came into the shop, I noticed how clean it was. Also, the workers are very attentive and were able to help me right away. I told a worker what I needed, and she led me to their piercer.
I told the piercer what I wanted, and she found a nose hoop that fit my nose best. Also, she switched out my jewelry for me. She made me feel really comfortable, and we chit chatted. I didn’t even notice my new jewelry was in!
I was in an out of the shop within 15 minutes, and was content with my new jewelry. Definitely check this place out!

We met Fella and his fiancé (I forgot her name!) at the Body Mod Expo in San Diego this Friday. We were asking around for someone to help with my husband’s horrible reaper tattoo. Many shops told us that they couldn’t help and the shops that claimed they could fix it, not even cover it, but were trying to charge us $ 400!
We were getting discouagred until we stopped by Absolute Tattoo’s booth. They were both so nice and personable, telling us that they could totally help us and that is would be $ 150. They were pretty shocked at what others were trying to charge us! My husband got his reaper fixed/​slightly covered by Fella and it looks 1000x better. I can’t thank them enough! My husband is no longer being haunted by that tattoo. :)
Fella also tattooed a small Queen of Hearts sign on my wrist. Clean lines, fit perfect on my wrist.
5 stars all around.

Carol pierced my 3 year old daughter’s ears. She was amazing! She followed strict cleanliness, and was so nice and patient. I wouldn’t go anywhere else!

I got a double helix piercing by Carol today and she did a great job. She was super nice and easy to talk to! I would definitely recommend getting a piercing here!

I am going to give this business 5 stars because Carol was great. I have to say I walked in the doors with my daughter wondering if I made the wrong choice. As I stood there NEVER being acknowledged by one person for at least 10 minutes I almost walked out. Luckily someone finished their tattoo and had to pay. Only because I read previous reviews I knew I was looking for Carol I asked the guy ringing her up if Carol was available. He said yes, then paused looked at me for a second and said «do you want me to get her for you?» I replied yes! She came out and was very friendly and knew her stuff. My daughters piercing took less than 5 minutes. She was quick, clean, and a professional. The price was reasonable. She deserves 5 starts.

Carol pierced my daughters nose. She was very friendly and took her time explaining the process. She also explained how to clean the area in detail, much needed for a pre teen. Her room was also very clean. I’d recommend her hands down.

I wish I would’ve gotten their names! I stopped by tonight last minute for a quick one and everyone in the shop was super friendly and my tattoo came out exactly how I wanted — so much better than the original I got 4 years ago. I will definitely be coming back here and recommending my friends

Best place to get your ink done. Nick gave me a great deal and worked with me every step of the way on designing my sleeve. Will continue to refer people to him as well as finish up my chest piece.

Absolutely the worst experience ever. Blown out lines and shading outside the tattoo. Be careful with this place, seems to be hit or miss

I walked in while visiting a friend from New Jersey. absolutely spur of the moment tattoo and I couldn’t be more satisfied. The staff here was very accommodating and friendly. Nick tattooed me and it came out beautifully. The price was reasonable as well!

My wife had a tattoo that she wanted covered and also starred the unsuccessful process of removal of a big blue heart on her arm; however, the mission of cover up was complete at a great price.

I went about a week ago, I walked in was not greeted by anyone for awhile, they were watching something funny it seemed like on the computer. I had to walk up to the counter to even talk to anyone. After that it all turned around though. The lady directed me to Collin to help me out with the tattoo I wanted. I showed him the tattoo I wanted but I didn’t want everything in it. He took it and made it just the way I want so beautiful. I was so nervous because it was my first tattoo but my husband Collin and I were all joking around. He did such an amazing job. Such a great experience for my first tattoo! His work was spot on and it looks just the way I planed it to look. I recommend going to Collin! You will not be disappointed! I will continue to go to him for all my other tattoos I’m planing to get :)!

This review is for the piercer, Carol. My friend and I both got our left tragus pierced, and my other friend got his nipples pierced.
We walked in on a Friday afternoon, asked a bunch of questions about the jewelry and healing process that Carol gladly answered, filled out the paperwork, and stepped into the piercing room.
I already had 8 lobe piercings and 1 cartilage piercing (all of which were done at the mall with one of those horrible guns), but I was still nervous about getting my tragus pierced since I heard that it was really painful. But to my pleasant surprise, it was quick and painless!!! I didn’t even realize when the needle went through my tragus and there was just a tiny bit of blood. Carol showed me how to clean it with a q-​tip and saline solution. She explained the aftercare guidelines and told us to call her if we have any questions later.
It’s been 3 weeks and my tragus is fine! I was so scared that it would get infected/​irritated like my cartilage, but it looks like the healing process is going well. Carol is an awesome piercer and I will definitely come back for my future piercings.

I got my first tattoo here, and I have accompanied several other friends to get theirs. All the tattoo artists (especially Bud) do such a great job of being chill and professional with their clients, whether its their 1^st or 10^th time getting a tattoo. Immediately after getting my own tattoo, my friends all over Facebook commented on how clean it was and were surprised that it wasn’t bleeding and more damaged looking. (Was it supposed to be?) Anyways, all the tattoos that I have seen from Absolute are the highest of quality, and I am constantly recommending friends who want to get tattoos to come here. My first experience at this shop was 6 years ago when I got my nose pierced for my birthday. The work was awesome and I felt really comfortable despite my fear of passing out.
Most recently however 4÷6÷14, I got some work done by an artist named «Bud.» As you can see from the attached picture, he did a fantastic job of bringing my tattoo vision to life.
While the quality of work was excellent here,
I was a little disappointed in the service. For someone receiving their very first tattoo, you’d think it would be beneficial to explain the process a little as far as what to expect, or even how to care for the tattoo afterward… I felt like I asked so many questions just to know the basics, I might have been a little off-​putting… Luckily I had my questions begrudgingly answered and things worked out just fine.
The shop is clean, uses sterile equipment and executes fabulous work at a decent price. If this is what you’ve been looking for, search no further!
