I come here to buy the frozen Green’s brand chocolate babka cake, which is fantastic! I buy the babka occasionally for us to enjoy at home, and I have given it as a gift to a friend. The cinnamon babka was also very good, but not as great as the chocolate. It’s more like a bread loaf, and we slice it up and heat it in the microwave. The bread tastes moist, and the chocolate is gooey and so yummy! I’ve tried versions of chocolate babka from Trader Joe’s and DZ Akins, and neither have measured up to the one at Aaron’s Eatzz(formerly Aaron’s Glatt Market). If you decide to try the babka, I’d advise calling ahead to make sure they have it in stock. Although I don’t really know much about Kosher cuisine, if you need to find a place that carries/serves Kosher items, try Aaron’s. For a work meeting in December 2005, I ordered and picked up a Kosher sandwich from here for a meeting attendee flying in from New York. I don’t recall if he had any complaints. The staff is nice and helpful. I haven’t dined here yet, but I know I will be back. Love that babka! p. s. Just a little background on my experience with babka… I first heard about babka on a Seinfeld episode that originally aired in 1994[ . I was visiting a friend in San Jose, and she took me to Noah’s Bagels(related to Einstein Bagels). They had individually wrapped chocolate babka slices, and I was curious, so I tried it. I was hooked. When my friend flew down for a visit, she surprised me with a whole loaf, and I’ve loved it ever since.
