History

Established in 2013.

In 2009, over half of all US art galleries went out of business during the recession. Aaron Chang Ocean Art Gallery was born during this precarious time in their flagship gallery in Solana Beach, growing its business slowly, one happy client at a time. In 2013, Aaron opened his second gallery downtown. Fast forward to 2015, Aaron Chang Ocean Art Galleries have won numerous awards, including «Gallery of the Year» and «Artist of the Year» while creating a solid base of clients and fans locally and internationally.

Over the years, Aaron Chang Ocean Art Gallery has worked with numerous corporate, commercial and residential clients to help them live and work in an inspired space through photographic art. The gallery has won these clients through excellent customer service and a virtual mock up program that helps the client visualize their space transformed by Aaron’s fine photography before their purchase.

Business Owner

Aaron Chang is an award winning, internationally acclaimed surf and ocean photographer whose epic imagery has been published worldwide in hundreds of books and magazines. In 2013 and 2014 Aaron Chang was voted «Best Artist» by Ranch and Coast magazine readers, and was named by the San Diego Tourism Authority in 2014 & 2015 as San Diego’s «Ambassador of the Arts.» Aaron resides in North County San Diego and owns two successful galleries, one in Solana Beach and the other downtown, that features his brilliant photography.
