History

Established in 2014.

I started doing carpet, upholstery and tile cleaning since 6÷12÷2002. I started working part time for a one man van carpet cleaner in Virginia, while I was going to college. He taught me everything he knew about the carpet business from installation, repair and carpet cleaning. This guy would tell his or her clients how much it will be without doing any bait and switch. This guy, it wasn’t about how much he can get off of the clients. He was just there to do his job, take care of the clients to make them happy and go home. After working for him for 6 years, I branched out to work for bigger carpet cleaning companies to see what they offer and how they run their business. What I realized about working for other companies is that they do a lot of bait and switch. The hours we have to work and the pay we get, it wasn’t worth. We would have to up sale the clients a lot. This is why we opened our own business, so the clients don’t get ripped off from other companies.

Carlitos did a fabulous job cleaning our carpet in three rooms. I am pleased he was able to remove all of the foot traffic marks and even a grease stain. Carlitos did a great job on communicating price, sent a reminder the day before and on his way, and even showed up a few minutes early. Best of all, no hidden charges! I paid exactly what he told me on the phone when I set up my appointment.

Carlito is the man. He always comes through and does an AMAZING job. He’s always going above and beyond… doing stuff that we didn’t even ask him to do. His prices are unbeatable and always leaves everything looking like new. My wife and I made the mistake of buying cream colored everything when we bought our house. Not such a great idea when you have a 3 year old and 1 year old running around the house. Thanks to Carlito we don’t have to go and buy all new furniture now lol. Definitely giving him a well deserved 5 stars!

A.K.A. Carpet Service is awesome! I highly recommend them. Carlito called me back right away and was able to come the next day. Our carpets had so much dirt and wear and tear that I didn’t expect a miracle, but after they were done, my carpets looked practically brand new. Carlito came the next day to clean our tile and did a great job as well. He even offered to come back and touch up the area where we had our Christmas tree since he wasn’t able to clean that spot. Very professional and friendly! Don’t hesitate to use them. Price was very reasonable too.

If you want your carpets, sofas and floors CLEAN call Carlito! He is super easy to work with and works hard to get the job done. My naked cats do a good job of greasing up my light grey couches but as always, Carlito does an excellent job! My couches and carpets look new again! For what he charges and what you get is insane! I always tip him generously! My carpets smell and feel refreshed, never crunchy or chemical smells. Once you try him you will never go anywhere else!

After hearing how incredible AKA Carpet Service was from a friend who had just used him to clean her carpets, I decided to hire him to do our carpets and tile floors (both bathrooms and kitchen/​entry way). Not only was AKA’s prices cheaper than anything I had been able to find, but the work he did was above and beyond what I expected. The grout in our kitchen used to be almost black, it was disgusting and I couldn’t believe my eyes when Carlito finished. The kitchen tile looked basically brand new! I could not have been more impressed and happy with the service. Carlito was on time, professional, kind, thorough and hard working!
