History

South Hills Pool and Spa is a Family Owned and Operated Swimming Pool and Spa Company! With over thirty five years experience in the pool and spa industry, South Hills Pool and Spa has what it takes to produce quality pools and satisfied customers. For three generations their family has been deeply rooted in the swimming pool business. They have gone from maintaining and repairing swimming pools, selling industry equipment to renovations and building new custom pools and spas.

South Hills Pool and Spa is dedicated to providing superior service to all of their customers. They believe clients are not only customers, but also business partners. They aim to work together with clients to build or renovate the pool and spa they have always imagined.

Meet the Business Owner

Peter M.

Business Owner

Born and raised in Southern California, Peter Marchica II grew up in the swimming pool service and repair business, working with his father, Pete Marchica Sr. who started his business in 1954. Peter worked alongside his father observing all aspects of pool repair and construction of new pools through the 1970’s. After receiving a business degree from Santa Clara University, Peter joined a major pool equipment manufacturing company, Jacuzzi Brothers Inc., working in sales and product development. In 1982, Peter obtained his California State Contractor’s License and started his own construction company, South Hills Pool and Spa.
