Consignment Design Concepts specializes in Consignment, Design Consultation and Estate Liquidations. High traffic and quick sells that turns your treasures to fast money. Designers on staff at all times to help guide you in your decorating and styling needs. We also have interior designers on staff that come to your home for a free consultation. We are home consignment with incredible prices on antiques, collectables, artwork, fine furniture and gently used furniture. We have new items arriving daily for consignment. Pick up and Delivery Available & We take most major credit cards. We also specialize in Estate Liquidation.

CDC will send out a representative from our company to view items to be sold and collaborate with you to place perfect price on your treasure items. CDC will also arrange to have your items pick up and brought into our showroom to be staged and placed to sell.

Established in 2010.

Consignment Design Concepts is located in the heart of the beautiful historic seaside town of San Clemente, CA at 528 N. El Camino Real. We are a Home Consignment and Design Center with a team of experienced & skilled designers dedicated to offering passion & commitment with a rich array of beautiful, unique treasures from around the world. With a facility of nearly 5000 square feet, which includes our bargain basement, there are thousands of unique items for anyone who enjoys the ultimate treasure hunt experience.

We carry quality brands such as Baker, Drexel, Century, South Cone, Henredon (and many more) as well as vintage pieces and collectibles. We also have an ample supply of miscellaneous home décor items including housewares, linens, artwork, lighting, and more. In addition, we offer close out specials from our friends in the wholesale industry.

Business Owner

A man of many talents, Thomas’s key role is to keep CDC chalk-​full of

quality, unique and interesting treasures, much to our customers’ and

designers’ delight. His talents were forged on the backbone of experience and

self-​acquired knowledge. Because he lived in Hong Kong for many years and has

traveled extensively around the world, he has developed a great eye for the

unique and desirable items that our customers seek. His creative genius

includes stunning and unique styles and staging. His perseverance in

on-​going industry knowledge allows us to remain at the forefront of design

& consign.

For buyers; nice stuff, great prices — but if you are a consignee, be sure you read the contract very carefully, ask tough questions and check on your items periodically. Our items were too quickly discounted, some were not displayed at all, and others were all but hidden. Very bad experience compared with others throughout OC.

I love consignment stores for the most part and this one has some great things for sale. But I was so disturbed to read about the Unilocaler from Escondido who missed out on getting the table he wanted because CDC would not honor a discount.
Looking in The Local Dish magazine, I found an ad for CDC, that mentions «Share the Love. Write a review on Unilocal or Google & receive 20% off any non-​sale item.» One thinks that might be why so many of these Unilocal for this business are from new Unilocalers without any other solid reviews behind them or why they have little or no friends. Very surprised that Unilocal’s filter did not put the newsies off to the filtered reviews. Anyway, before you go to CDC, write a Unilocal and save some extra money. I wish the Escondido Unilocaler Kornel g. could have known about this before hand, His sad story about missing out on that cool table gives an otherwise excellent CDC, 2 Unilocal STARS for bumming me out.

This place is so wonderful! There are some great pieces at reasonable prices. All of the furniture and décor are in great condition and they really take care of the pieces there. There is something for every one’s taste and the staff is friendly and helpful.

Well, first off the store is amazing. They have some really cool furniture. I went in Saturday and my wife were looking around. we fell I love with a dining room table and chairs. It was a little out of out budget but we saw signs all over on different things saying 10% off if y pay cash. We decided to try and negotiate with them and offered about 20% under what they were asking. They said that they just got the table and they could not negotiate on the price until they had it for at least 2 weeks. We said we understood and asked if they would take off the 10% if we paid with cash. Again they said no. That was 2 hrs before they closed. Later that evening I looked them up on Unilocal and saw they had a 10% off discount! We were so excited and showed up the next morning to but the table and chairs to find that there was a «hold till Monday» sticker on the table. We asked how serious the customer was since it did not have a «sold» sticker in it and we were cash in hand buyers and even more excited about the coupon. They said someone had come in just after us and said they wanted it and we should have bought it yesterday. We were so bummed that they had a 10% coupon yesterday that would have sealed the deal yesterday and they kept their mouths shut causing us to loose out. They could have handled the situation completely different and ended up with a 5 star review. Maybe they should think about the customers best interest and keeping them happy instead of squeezing a few more bucks into a sale

Oh my heavens to betsey… DO NOT let the store name fool you. This is not like any other consignment store!!! What a treasure chest of goodies this store is. Everything from knick knacks to rugs to furniture and everything in between. Some of the best pieces in my home have come from Consignment Design Concepts. And the cherry on top is the wonderful staff. These people know their business. This will be your new favorite secret in San Clemente!!!

I don’t know where these guys get their furnishings or how they can sell them so inexpensively but as long as they are doing so, I will continue to furnish my house with quality works of art. My bedroom set, breakfast nook table and chairs and floor lamp have all received positive comments from my friends. I am having a sofa and water feature delivered this week. Excited to see it all come together.

This store really is a hidden gem! The store clerks (especially Robby :) are super friendly and helpful. They have diverse items at varying prices and they even have a whole «bargain basement» showroom. It’s like a real life treasure hunt. I will definitely be a return customer!
