Do not throw your money away on them. We lost our house. They did nothing for me and my family. They make you process everything and they just submit it. Every time I processed my papers required to modify loan, I got served by the bank that my property was in auction. I had to call the bank for them to stop it. Then I followed with TYLER BASS who said he stopped it. I couldn’t get a hold of him for many days. They said I have a better chance if I file bankruptcy and they will dismiss it right before filing. We were homeless and can’t get another house or rental due to our bankruptcy that was dismissed. DON’T USE THEM!!!

His company was called CDA LAW FIRM, I believe it no longer exists but if do look into getting a loan modification do your research because this company may have set up under a new name so ask if they or their employees have any connections pass or present to Robert Scurrah or CDA Law Firm.
A new company at the same address is ATTORNEY SUPPORT NETWORK so this may or may not be associated with ROBERT SCUARRAH CDA LAW FIRM so research or ask.

CDA Law Center told me they could get me a loan modification and reduce my monthly payment by hundreds of dollars. I ended up with an offer from my bank that was basically the same as the monthly payments I was already paying. Once I got an offer, they could not get rid of me fast enough. As far as they were concerned, they did their job, as I got «an» offer. Total waste of my money and time. I did like the guy who was my initial point of contact (great SALESman), but then, he stopped returning my emails. Called and found out, he had left the firm. Did anyone even bother to tell me? NO. I was then assigned a merry-​go-​round of different negotiators, none of whom inspired any confidence in me. The second one quit the firm at some point too! They will send you a link to a website that has tons of rave reviews by supposed former clients — do NOT be fooled like I was. Given my own experience, I find those reviews rather incredulous. Also, do look up attorney Robert Scurrah’s record at the California Bar Association website, as mentioned by another reviewer. Don’t end up flushing thousands of your money down the toilet hiring this law firm.

Thanks for nothing, don’t be fooled like I was. Got caught at a vulnerable time in my life. When I got rejected by Indy Mac all emails and return calls stopped.

I just want to thank Justin Dickson, Crystal Oropeza and Lorraine Whitford for all of your help!!! Justin your the man! Our loan mod was just approved about a week ago and we are saving over 1200 dollars a month, there are not enough words for me and my family to say thank you! For anybody out there looking for help with a loan mod I fully recommend CDA they absolutely positively know what they are doing from beginning to end they were on top of every little detail.

CDA Law Center is a scam! They took my money and were negligent in their service. In my case, they knew that the investor would not help me and yet they still told me that there was a good chance they could help. During my whole process, they never once contacted me and I had to contact them the entire time. They did nothing special with my case and even said that they escalated my case with B of A and never showed me evidence of this escalation. I could write endless amount of issues I had with them and hope nobody else ends up losing their money with them!

CDA Law Center helped me modify my loan in about 6 months. Its so unfortuntate that Unilocal would filter 20+ positive reviews. SHAME ON Unilocal.
Tip: Be up front and honest about your situation and do exactly as CDA advises and you will have a smooth trasaction.

A total waste of money!!! I was referred to CDA after I was denied a loan mod through BofA. They sold me on all the reasons why I should sign up with them including the REST report. What a joke! I sent them $ 4,500 in stages and then followed up on a regular basis. They took advantage of my wife and me at our most vulnerable moment. They are not able to deliver on what they advertise and this is a waste of money. We ended up short selling our dream home and now rent with $ 4,500 less in our savings account thanks to CDA. Do not be tempted to give them a try.

I’m so excited to finally be one of many who can brag and post a happy ending on a loan modification story. Yes folks, OUR LOAN MODIFICATION WAS APPROVED!!! We all share the same horror story when it comes to trying to get a loan modification on our own and dealing directly with the bank. If you want stress in your life working with the bank, making phone calls after phone calls, leaving messages after messages, mailing and faxing of forms and applications over and over again not knowing if they actually go anywhere and playing phone tags with the so-​called bank customer service, then go for it. The only question is why would you??? Why not trust the CDA Law Center? You can add our successful case to all the folks out there who’ve been helped by the CDA Law Center. They became our advocate and they championed our case. Our life full of stress actually started over a year ago. I had an awesome job in the military with a decent salary to pay our bills and our mortgage. Unfortunately, I couldn’t continue my military career and was forced to retire. I looked at our finances and spend plan and saw a significant financial hardship looming ahead with a dramatic reduction in our income and no guarantee in finding a job. So I planned ahead and called my bank to let them know and asked for assistance in refinancing or modifying our mortgage. DO NOT USE THEM — in spite of all their claims in their massive e-​mail marketing schemes, they will NOT work with you to get you a Principle Reduction. They work with their own bank negotiators and lure you in with these grandiose ideas that they obtained all these principle reductions — but in fact these are all lies… all they do is renegotiate your interest and get you caught up on your payments — just what the banks wanted in the first place.

What a rip-​off. My husband got hurt on the job. My husband DISLOSED the fact that he was on worker’s comp from the beginning. They said they would not do any negotiating until we paid them; $ 1795. After collecting various information and faxing book-​sized information, we waited and waited. Finally one of the reps claimed the banks would NOT recognize worker’s comp as income. THE REP ACTUALLY REQUESTED THAT MY HUSBAND COMMIT FRAUD BY CLAIMING HE WAS SELF-​EMPLOYED. After that HUGE red flag and after being told AFTER they took our money and told us they could not help us, we ended-​up having to short-​sale our home and now are renters. Thanks a lot CDA Law Center; for basically misleading us and taking our money and our home. We would have been better off dealing with the banks directly.
After getting ripped-​off, we contacted The CA state bar. We have a trial coming up toward the end of the month. Wish us luck. We don’t have that kind of money to just give away. Nor do we appreciate strangers having ALL of our personal information!
UPDATE:
We received our $ 1795 back after reporting them to the California State Bar Association. We almost had to testify but they had enough evidence without our having to go to court. Yay! Thank you, CA State Bar Association, for stepping up and helping us get our $ back.
We still lost our home and we trusted the wrong people. BEWARE of CDA Lawcenter!

these people lie to you, they lead you along and never call you back. they promised me it would take 2 months and I am going on 8 months with no resolution. Tyler Bass told me that they were in contact with my bank and when I called the bank directly, they told me no one had contacted them at all in the 8 months I had been waiting! they sure did withdraw my funds from my bank immediately thou!!! they get paid but don’t help you at all! and when I asked for refund — what a joke more lies I guess that was my fault for believing them once again.

FAILED to DELIVER.
They did a great job selling my family along the way, stating they could get the banks to work with them. Stating I was an individual that had no power, they were a law firm that worked directly with people higher up in the banks than I could.
I did not find this to be the case. I found that a resolution was always 2 months out, after a year of failure they finally admitted they could not help me.
Save your money, work with the banks directly. If the banks won’t work with you, they will most likely not work with CDA Law Center either.
Ask for references of people they have helped in the past 3 months.
