I have owned The Signworks for the past 9 years. I moved to San Carlos from San Francisco many years ago. I owned and operated Vic’s Family Restaurant, on San Carlos Avenue, from 1976 – 2008.

I run my sign company the same way I ran my restaurant. I go through great lengths to maintain a reputation for having a quality product, high level of customer service and establishing a long term working relationship with all my clients.

I maintain a quality support staff to follow up with our requestes for quotes. I, or my shop manager, Jan Willey, visit each and every project on site to make sure every detail of the project is noted and professional advise and solutions are given to the client. I also personally participate or perform our installations to make sure projcts are installed and completed properly.

Folks, here is the icing on the cake. My assistant didnt forward part of the order. This was discovered after the partial order had been processed. Signworks worked with us, adjusted pricing, and met our deadline and still came in a couple bucks budget even though they would have been well within their rights to hold the price of the part of the project that had already been started.
If you need a sign made in the Peninsula, this is the place to get it!!!

One of the letters fell off our lighted sign, which had been installed by a different company, and was dangling dangerously over the street. Vic, the owner of Signworks, came right away to remove the letter then re-​installed it quickly and for a reasonable price. He came highly recommended to me by my landlord, and I highly recommend him to anyone who needs a trustworthy sign maker/​installer.

I needed an outdoor banner for my company in a very short amount of time. Jan and Vic at The Signworks were able to rush my order and get it back to me the same day, before a holiday weekend. They recommended colors to use, which would be best for outdoor viewing.

You wouldn’t think signage was something to get excited over, but you’re wrong, fellow Unilocalers. It is serious business.
I’m a graphic design student working for a non-​profit while I finish my degree. When I was given the task of designing our new logo, I was thrilled. Then came the task of having my «baby» put onto a new sign for our door.
Not just any sign shop would do, no siree, not for my pride and joy.
I went to The Signworks. I told them what I needed and they suggested a few options. We eventually settled on a 30″ by 12″ decal, and it was very affordable!
I picked it up today, and I have to tell you guys, it’s beautiful. And not just because it’s my design. The color, the resolution, everything, it’s just stunning. And it was finished a day ahead of schedule! Double plus!

**edit** And when you can’t manage to get your decal on straight (without stretching it) they’re excellent at making you a reorder.
Tip: Try putting the decal on Top-​to-​Bottom, rather than Left-​to-​Right.
