Sold out of a 3rd of the menu, flies in the pastry display, and forgot to make my drink because they ran out of whipped cream.

Maybe I caught them on a bad day. Seems like there was new people, so new that when I asked for something right on the menu board the girl taking my order argued with me that they did not make Smoothies, I said look behind you, she does then asked another person if we really make smoothies, and the other girl says it’s on the board right? SO she takes my order, the choice is strawberry banana or greens. I’ll have the strawberry banana. What size, it only comes in one size I say, she says what size is that, the other girls comes over and hits a button and says there only one button because theres only one size. She then asks me «do you want banana in that» I must look at her like she’s crazy at this point and so I said it only comes as strawberry banana and I answer for strawberry banana so I guess yeah, I want banana in it. She does not take my name although most do, some Starbucks do not. The team was a little disheveled, going in circles and back and forth but not really doing anything so I figure I have time to go use the rest room. I do and come back and although there is only one order in front of me they still have not started either one, seems they have run out of ice, and yogurt, and bananas. Well another woman comes out who is either the manager or at least experienced. She tells someone to get ice form the back, shows another person where the bananas are at, pulls out the yogurt from the fridge and tells another girl to go ahed and make it. Now this is not rocket science but girl making my drink does something wrong and has to dump it out and start over again. She does and pours my smoothie into a cup but it comes up about 2 inches short. She grabs another cup of the same size that is empty and pours in my drink into it then looks surprised that it’s still 2 inches form the top(Blond moment?). The women who seems to know whats going on comes over and shows her for the 3rd time the measuring cut my drink ingredients are supposed to be measured with and proceeds to make a little more to fill my cup. Almost there, but she hands my drink to another girl who is having trouble getting the medium lid to go on the large(Venti) cup. This seems to be really confusing for her but finally the one person who knows how to place a lid on a cup comes over and takes it from her and puts on the right sized lid. Since my 4 year old grand daughter can figure out to put a small lid on a small cup and a large lid on the large cup I’m guessing this women is either not four yet or has just come back from a life time in the jungle and had never seen a plastic cup lid before. Anyway I’ve now read an entire back page of a newspaper that is sitting there while watching the keystone cops act play out. And I finally get my smoothie. The first girl walks over and shows me the banana skin and proudly informs me she added a banana! Wow!

I like coming here because they have the big table in the center of the seating area where I can spread my materials out and get some work done. This is a community Starbucks that has a lot of senior citizens and families come by so it can get pretty loud, but I actually enjoy all the background noise. Baristas are nice and my drinks have always come out quickly and just as I ordered it.

If I could give 0 stars I would-horrible service and a rude barista… never again!!! The barista was mad the entire time, ignoring customers, and throwing things around.

I am officially boycotting this location. Quiet Monday afternoon. Cashier takes my drink order. 15 minutes later I realize their are no cups on the bar. He was entirely unapologetic, bordering on rude. The barista did apologize nicely, but it wasn’t her fault. On a good day, the are completely understaffed and rarely acknowledge people waiting in line. Save your time and go to the location on Industrial. Much friendlier staff.

Two stars for making my drink right and negative 3 for that funky smell that slaps you when you walk into this place?! What is that?! Stinky! Mop the floors and air the place out. Smells like someone threw up in there.

NEGATIVESTARS! I’m a loyal Starbucks addict & thus frequent the place in various locations. This is the worst Starbucks ever– rude girls. When questioned for increased cost of my usual drink by 60 cents was told –sharply & unapologetically-everyone should be charging for xtra whip– yet this has never happened before in all my years of Starbucks. It is not out of greed or entitlement that one develops drink preferences just fyi to nasty baristas. It is actually one of the few pleasures I indulge on a limited budget– so thanks for making me feel bad! This store is always overflowing with trash & dirty tables. Often only one person working– poor management? As a company Starbucks should be very on top of these horrible attitudes– that are but a Google search away:

I don’t have the opportunity to come to this Starbucks often, but since work brings me to San Carlos occasionally and I’d rather sit in a coffee shop than in traffic, I come here early whenever my number is called by the boss. The baristas here are quick to fill your order and are usually pretty pleasant to interact with. What I really love about this spot, though, is the location. Laurel Street is super charming and it’s always nice to roll up at 6:30 am, find a parking spot toot sweet, and enjoy your drink of choice with a pastry. Of course, you could argue this about any establishment on Laurel, but I call upon the consistency of the ‘Bucks again. It’s super fun to grab a drink and walk up and down the street, even when the other stores are closed because it is so tranquil. I’ll definitely continue to come here to pass the time before heading to the office, though I won’t necessarily look forward to the drive.

Friendly staff! They always remember my name and order! Like always, if I am not happy with my drink they make a new one and give me a free coffee card. Great customer service!

Some of the nicest starbucks baristas iIve ever met. The gal working the cash was very friendly and accommodating. She didn’t know how to open the register to break my $ 20 but her associate showed her and she took it in stride. Very professional. 5 stars for her service and attitude alone.

I stopped going here. Service is actually really good, so I am giving two stars, but I can’t stand what these large companies stand for and mass produced products.

Came in this morning, not that early, but the Barista seems to have just woken up, he kept yawning while making drinks and most of the customers could see him. Aside from being unsanitary it’s very unprofessional and rude. He doesn’t even respond nicely with other staff.

Customer service has been poor lately. I always order a Grande latte but they gave me a tall and said«that’s what I saw» while talking to a customer/acquaintance, and then both chuckled.

The line was short, the service was polite and efficient. We got our drinks. They were perfect to Starbucks standards. Within a minute, we slid one drink accross the wooden table and the drink spilled. Really only about ¼ of the drink was lost. The drink was remade to please us, and please us it did! That was above and beyond. Thank you. We will gladly choose this location for their professionalism towards us as customers and each other as I watched them interact.

Swing by with kids on a Sat around 11AM– a bit dirty with stuff all over the floor and tables and staff seems disorganized. Not a Starbucks high point

Not sure why I continue to have to relearn this lesson… After I leave this store I always say to myself I will not go to that store again. They need to learn basic drink recipes.

Just ran in to get a drink and they were busy after school was out. They told the girl in front of me it would take 10 minutes to get a glass of water! I almost thought it was April Fools — -but it wasn’t!!! Won’t be back!!!

It’s a shame that the barista was so rude because my drink was made perfectly. I heard her say to the boi at the register«this guy sucks» and I laughed. I love that Starbucks is one of the places that I can make alterations to my drink without an eyeroll. Now I feel bad for having extra ice… Weird experience and don’t really want to go back… I will though because it’s on a Main Street. Blonde barista named Brit needs some training on customer service. Other than that… Boss drink
