Accidentally knocked off the side mirror cover in the morning. The cover was detached from the bottom and the bottom plate was totally misplaced. Drove to this store hoping to get a temporal fix so I can go to work.
The owner was sooooo nice and so skilled. He managed to put the bottom part back to the right place without causing any more damage. As one of the clips inside the cover was broken, he simply welded up the clip with some wire and fix it. The cover was put back on and the mirror works like new. No damage can even be noticed from exterior.
The most amazing thing is that he fixed my mirror in 10mins but with NO charge. He even gave me the tip that if the cover gets loose later on, I can just use some clear tape on the inner side which won’t be visible from outside.
He really made my day and I am so gonna make this place my go-​to body store!

I chose San Carlos Collision Center because it had 5 stars from 41 reviewers, which says a lot in itself. And boy, were those ratings correct. As others have said, both Elba and Jose, owners of the business, are wonderful to work with, and do everything to please. They work hard to keep the costs to a minimum, yet do 5 star repair work in a timely fashion. Elba kept me updated as the week went by, apologized for the Nissan parts department being slow to send the wrong part, which then slowed everything down — so they worked even harder to get my car back to me as promised. And the car looks like new. I highly recommend this business.

When a cement pillar jumped out and assaulted my Durango’s bumper and tailgate I was devastated.
I first went to Chilton’s, but since there was a little rust on the lift back, they told me they could not help me. Instead, they sent me to San Carlos Collision Center just off Industrial.
I was greeted by a very SWEET lady by the name of Elba. Turns out she and her husband Jose own the business.
We stepped outside to see what I had done to him. Elba reassures me it’s not that bad and that Jose could get my boy looking brand new again in less than a week.
I opted to also have them fully detail him — sand and polish — as I was afraid his backside was going to look new, while the rest would show his 17 years.
When I picked him up, they were both there. I almost cried. I was picking up a brand new SUV! There were a couple white marks where I had been T-​Boned by a Ford Ranger. Jose said he had to cover them up for me to make my boy look nice. Yup, I cried and hugged him and Elba.
Then they showed me their repair work. WOW! That’s it, WOW!
My entire truck is so gorgeous now I am over the moon.
Anyone who is serious and picky about getting their car painted the old fashioned way ie. quality, friendly service, shop that stands behind their work, go no further.
Elba and Jose are sweet, honest people and their team, top notch (and always had a smile & wave for me)
If you are looking for a cheap paint job, go elsewhere. You get what you pay for. Jose and his crew pride themselves on quality. Nothing less will do for this proud man. Best of all, for the quality of work, their fees are reasonable.

After upsetting fender bender on my way back from work, Jose and Elba were very helpful that evening. Despite that they already had a long day and already closed shop for the late night work, still they were so kind to take in my car, looked at the damage and listened to my problem. And in addition, they have had a detailed estimate to show the work needed to be done first thing next morning! Their efficiency truly reflects their abundant experience in their skill and knowledge in car repairs. And after that everything went smoothly with them. These guys are wonderful: no wait, do free estimates, and all in 30 minutes.
Not only would I use them again for repair estimates, but if I ever need car repairs I’m coming here: they’re very nice people, and they give great service.

I towed in my 2002 Nissan Pathfinder for repairs. There was no insurance on it at the time. Jose & Elba estimated the repairs. Keep me update during the whole repair process. In fact the repaired it even faster the I expected it. It came out great. Even with suspenision damage you let go of the wheel and it drives straight with no wobble in the wheel. If I could give them 6 stars I would. Thanks Jose & Elba.

This is a family owned and run business that treats you like family. They do excellent work; they regularly keep you informed on the progress of your vehicle; they always go above and beyond. I can’t see going anywhere else.

These people are amazing! I went there today to ask them have a look on my car which was scratched by bushes. Jose was in the middle of some work. He put that aside and came with his colleague to fix the scratches on my car. He worked for about 15 minutes and the lines vanished! I was amazed by their professional job and asked them how much I should pay. Unbelievably they said nothing! Then I went to Alba and said I want to pay for this. She said they were happy to do something for me!!! This was my first time going there. But I’ll recommend all of my friends to go there whenever they need and enjoy their helpfulness and professionalism.

Exceptional service! My 2005 Lexus LS 430 needed a bumper repair plus i decided to get the car sand buffed/​polished. My car looks like a brand new car! They did an immaculate job on both the bumper and the detailing. I couldn’t have asked for better work. I keep looking at my car and can’t believe how new it looks! When it came time to pay, they charged me a lot less than originally quoted! I’ve never had that happen to me. Incredible! Jose and Elba are the best! I highly recommend San Carlos Collision Center. You can’t go wrong with them!

Great service! He explained the best cost-​effective approach to me. Actually he suggested me to use the paint less repair, which saves me time and money. He cleaned all the small dints without charging me even one dollar. Very honest man. I strongly suggest to go there for body repairs.

Just had a great experience with this company. I’m not a frequent reviewer on Unilocal but these guys really are great. They listen to what your want and find the least expensive way to meet your needs. They were done on time and stayed within the estimate even though they went beyond. My car looks like new. They have great customer service and really do deserve the 5 star rating.

²⁰¹³⁄₂₀₁₄ 12 month was not a good year for me when it comes to Auto damage.
The good part about that time period was finding Elba and Jose. We had 5 repairs done at San Carlos Collision Center and could not have been more pleased. Their customer service was the best I have ever experienced. Their workmanship is beyond reproach. My wife said to me after our last incident «at least you get to see Jose & Elba again. Elba is so helpful. I am about to have 2 cars repaired and thus far I am very happy with the customer service.

Absolutely incredible service! Jose and Elba were extremely helpful throughout the whole process; Elba did a great job working with the insurance company, and made sure I was getting genuine parts for a decent price. My truck was in and out in one day (luckily it was mostly minor damage so not too much work), which was great with my busy schedule. When I arrived to pick it up, I had a nicely repaired, washed, and detailed truck waiting for me! It was cleaner than when I had brought it in; phenomenal five-​star service. Jose even walked me through what they had taken off and replaced, and showed me the parts they had removed. Would highly recommend this incredible, honest, family-​run business to anyone.

This place is phenomenal. Elba and Jose are a pleasure to work with and excellent at what they do. I needed some minor work (new tail light and bumper repair) on a pretty old car so of course it wasn’t worth it to spend too much. I didn’t even have to explain this because they were clearly aware of it. Their estimate was almost half of one I had gotten nearby. They found after market parts to save me money. They were done a day earlier than than they said. Jose repaired things that I didn’t even ask for and didn’t charge me and even found other ways to save me money and I ended up paying less than their estimate! I couldn’t have hoped for a better experience and I highly recommend this business.

Writing a review for an auto body shop is kinda a catch 22. You never want to have to visit one since it most likely means you have been in an accident but are always grateful when you have met people who are honest and helpful.
I was rear ended in my brand new 2012 Jetta in August and was completely devastated that my brand new car was already damaged. Aside from that dealing with the stress that begins from the moment your in an accident is overwhelming. Your stressed about exchanging insurance info, filing the claims, and in my case stressed that my sucky insurance do their job. It took nearly two weeks before my auto insurance company reached out to me about getting my car repaired and once they FINALLY did I found San Carlos Auto Collision Center.
I went there for an estimate and met with Jose and Elba who took me in that same morning and were very warm and extremely thorough. After the nightmare I had been living in with my insurance I finally met people who actually wanted to guide me and give me advice on how to proceed with my accident & repairs. I was beyond impressed and humbled by their kindness in taking the hour to listen to me, answer my questions, and give me their advice from their knowledge in being in this business where they have to deal with auto insurance.
It took about two weeks total for my car repairs to be completed and throughout the entire process there was always open and constant communication on their behalf on the status of the repairs and so on. I can’t stress ENOUGH how nice it is to have kind people help but the fact that they also do an amazing job on their work is impressive. Their should be more businesses who pride themselves in providing EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE as well as EXCELLENT AUTO BODY WORK. My car looked brand new and a lot of the time when you get repairs you can see small tell-​tale signs of auto body work and this definitely was not the case with their work. Jose takes his time and is very meticulous and treats your car as though he is the person who is going to have to live with it for as many years as you plan on owning your car.
I strongly recommend that any person that finds themselves needing an ALL AROUND GREAT AUTO BODY SHOP to consider this shop and give Jose and Elba a chance. It’s great to support small business and it’s great to work with people who take pride in their jobs!
