Meet the Business Owner
Jeff S.
Business Owner
Jeff and Joan Smith have been coaching and teaching aquatics for over 30 years. Joan was a former NCAA All-American in swimming and track. She went on to compete professionally for 10 years in triathlons. Jeff was a pastor at Peninsula Covenant Church as well as the Aquatics Director at the Community Center. Together they founded the USS team Peninsula Covanant Aquatics (PCA). They started Smith Swim School in 2004 out of grandma’s backyard pool. In 2007 the program grew too large and needed it’s own site. That’s when the former Taft Swim School was purchased and King’s Swim Academy launched.
