Justin’s San Carlos 76

It’s a chevron now. The shop closes early. At that point, they take in all the window scrub brushes so you can’t even clean your windows. Even if you’re there when the brushes are out, they rarely put any soap in the water. The machines don’t print receipts. Considering what we pay for gas, this is ridiculous.

I believe this is a CHEVRON now.
First, the pumps would not function — gas will not pump.
The pump tells me to go inside. I’m upset and frustrated, but not angry yet.
I ask the attendant for help. She (her name is Antonia or Antonio) refuses to help me. She says something about only 5 more minutes. I think this means she is off clock or something. I ask for another attendant or manager. No one. She refuses to help me. I start getting angry. Other customers come in and out and she DOES assist these customers, but she won’t help me at all. I get more angry
I leave completely confused and angry.
I call my credit card company. I have three $ 100 charges from my attempts to pump gas. They tell me to call back in a few days.
I try calling Chevron — any Chevron customer service number. It is Saturday afternoon and all I can find are Mon-​Fri customer service.
I want to make sure Chevron will not charge my credit card.
I want to speak to the manager — and his manager — and Chevron corporate to complain about this attendant. I want something permanent in her personel file stating that she refused to help a customer purchase gasoline, refused to help regarding the pump, refused to help about the credit card, refused to give me any information on who else to ask for help. All she did was mumble about the manager on Monday.
I admit that I yelled at her, for which I am sorry. But she repeatedly refused to help me in any way at all. I’ve never met a more incompetent and rude and useless customer service attendant. She should be reprimanded on her permanent record. I will follow through on this and make sure the manager and those above him are aware of this unbelievable incident. I’m still shaking in anger. I broke down and cried because I was so upset.
I am also worried this women will steal my credit card information — I had this happen at a gas station years ago that an employee was stealing credit card numbers. Okay, I realize this is a bit extreme, but now I have this worry on top of everything else!

This gas station was right down the road from our hotel. It was convenient to get to and close to the freeway. No problem with our service and we were able to fill up and get on the road quickly.

Worst 76 in the bay?
I went here with a couple friends to fill up a Uhaul truck on our way to return it. My friend uses her ATM card and it denies it. Then she uses her credit card and that also gets denied. Shocked that her cards were not working she went inside and paid cash towards the pump. So we pump the gas and it stops and we are only at ¾ tank.
We go back inside and she is out of cash so I try my credit card. It works and they ask how much would you like to put on it? Now I am puzzled because I said just fill it up. The attendant is training a new person and she tells me «I could do that but I don’t want to.» I am not even kidding. That was the customer service that she was training. So crazy its almost unbelievable.
Moral of the story. Drive the extra half mile and go to the 76 station at Ralston and Old County.

I came here for gas cuz I was desperately running low and this was the first station I saw on the way home. Big mistake! I should have waited. Gas got cheaper and cheaper as I drove closer to home. Next time, I’m gonna be a little more patient. I could have at least made it to the gas station on Ralston which was a around $ 0.10 cheaper per gallon!
