History

Established in 2005.

We opened Décor Staging in June of 2005 under the name Home & Garden Redesign. Owner and designer, Kerry Roth, trained with IRIS and CSP for her redesign and staging training. She also was enrolled in Canada College’s Interior Design Program.

As the business developed we began to get a high volume of requests for vacant home staging. We began to acquire our inventory of home furnishings and accessories to accommodate the vacant home staging demand. During this time we continued to provide garden design, outdoor living space and curb appeal.

In 2009 we renamed the business Décor Staging. Although we still provide all of the same services our new name better reflects the focus of our business.

In addition to home staging we also provide home furniture purchasing, custom upholstery and bedding, wallpaper, garden design, curb appeal, commercial and residential space planning, color consulting, renovation design and project management.

Business Owner

I began my home staging career during my teen years in my family’s business. We lived in Modesto and my father owned a large mobile home sales business where my mother and I staged the new mobile homes.

In college at San Jose State I designed and constructed furniture out of exotic woods. Additionally I dabbled in etched glass carving and stained glass.

Later in life I began classes at Canada College in the Interior Design Program. While there I also took training in home staging and home redesign through IRIS and CSP. It was shortly thereafter that I opened my home staging and redesign business.
