«Performance Training for Everyday Life and Sport»

This reflects the core of my health and fitness philosophy. Life is dynamic and is best enjoyed when you are physically independent and can participate in the things you enjoy. Your fitness training must be dynamic and unique to meet your special requirements. I believe that the same techniques and principles used to train athletes are applicable to all people. I have found this approach to be very successful with helping people of all ages, backgrounds and training experience, to enjoy the various options life has to offer. I have a professional certificate in Fitness Instruction and Exercise Science from the University of California, San Diego. I am a Certified Strength and Conditioning Coach with the National Strength and Conditioning Association and a Certified Personal Trainer with the American Council on Exercise. Give me a call, let’s talk about your strength and fitness program.

History

Established in 2005.

I started Athletics For Everyone while I was still living in San Diego. With the idea that all people should train like athletes. We all move the same, some are just faster than most. In order for us to be better at our everyday activities and weekend passions, our fitness programs have to be at least as dynamic as our lives. So when I would go to the gym and see folks working on the same machines or same movements day after day, I knew that I had a mission, that mission is to help people go beyond what they think possible. My mission is to help people to be strong and independent. To do the things they want to do and to enjoy strength and fitness training as a life time pursuit.

Meet the Business Owner

Patrick W.

Business Owner

I have always had a passion for being strong and fit. After college I knew the place for me was in the Marines. I served in the US Marine Corps from 1981 to 1989. After which I went to work in corporate America. A great way to make a living, great people to work with, but it just was not right for me. In 2003, I enrolled in the University of California, San Diego Extension program for Fitness Instruction and Exercise Science, UCSD works in concert with the American Council on Exercise with the development of the criteria and course of study. It was during this period that I did my internship at the UCSD Athletic Department and when I say how college athletes trained I knew that this is how everyone should be training. And the conclusion of my course of study I decided that rather than work for a large organization I would strike out on my own. And here I am, ready to be your coach.
