San Bruno, CA
Every now and then I read an article or see a news clip about this project on TV. What I didn’t know before is that it is a local effort to actualize the civil right movement and its history for today’s high school students. Taking 11th & 12th graders back to the South to walk the steps of the freedom fighters who won the rights many of us take for granted must be incredibly moving.
