History

Established in 1987.

SkyPark was founded by Chet Krouse, a business traveler who traveled over 100,000 miles per year. Before a flight one day, he got soaked waiting for a shuttle bus to arrive and started thinking there must be a better way.

SkyPark’s goal was born then and has remained the same since: to provide all travelers unparalleled service beyond just parking cars. This is why we valet park every single car that arrives at our facility, assist with all baggage and offer complimentary doughnuts and coffee to start the travel day off right. We also offer car car services including washes, oil changes and maintenance. We truly believe our slogan that «parking is only part of it.»

Like other fans have said– you arrive and the shuttle is waiting to take you to the airport. You just leave your keys with the valet. On your return, call to alert the drivers you are ready to be picked up, give them your valet number, and in a matter of minutes the shuttle turns the corner to get you back to your car. Paying is efficient. It’s the only place near SFO that I will park.

Flying out of Sfo? This is the garage you should be parking your car. I’ve tried others and I continue to come back to sky park! The staff is very friendly, the coffee and donuts are always tempting, from valet (included in the price of day parking) to airport is always within minutes. I love this business!

After I found this place, I stopped even thinking about taking the airporter to the airport. I look forward to an early flight because I know I will allow myself to grab a donut, some coffee, a few free newspapers and maybe a banana. Be sure to save some room in your bag.
Seriously this is convenience. Jump out of your car, leave your keys in the car, grab the treats and step in the van to be whisked to the airport. Make sure you download a discount coupon ahead on time or ask for the AAA discount. Park outside for cheap or inside for a few dollars more. Then when you get back, take the van back and no waiting in line to pay. Your car is there, just jump in and you are on your way home in a flash. I have even had them change my oil while I am traveling. I don’t know if they offer this service anymore.

I love them. Freggin lifetime customer. Always friendly. Buses leave like clockwork. Being a member let’s you skip the paperwork. And I left a suit in the shuttle, they kept it while I was away and put it in my car when I returned. If you want something fairly priced, efficient and friendly stick with these guys. The others are fairly inconsistent except prknfly. Bonus: donuts and coffee in the morning.

BEWARE… When you arrive @ their facility take the time to take pictures of your entire car and the mileage before you jump into the shuttle. My car was damaged and they’re denying the damage was caused by them. All they have of proof is poor picture of the video surveillance when I entered.

Got Unilocal coupons for 13/​day outdoor parking. Drove there, got off the car and attendant gave me the ticket. We took our bags from our car to the shuttle that was already there waiting. Driver helped put our bags in shuttle. From pulling into driveway to being on our way to airport in less than 3 minutes tops.
On arrival, texted our ticket number to them from airport while waiting for our luggage. Shuttle came in about 4 – 5 mins (not specifically for us, but on its usual round). Got to the parking lot and our car was parked by the door ready for us. Went in to the cashier and paid and was out in my car in 3 minutes.
Every long term parking should be run like this. Will only use them from now on.

We park here every time we fly from SFO and love it. Just drive up, they park your car and there is a shuttle there already waiting to get you to the airport. You tell them when you fly back in and they have your car waiting in front when you get back! Never had to wait more than a couple minutes for the shuttle back from the airport either. Best place to park your car.
Almost forgot… they have complimentary donuts and coffee in the morning!!!

You need a secret decoder ring to find this place but I believe it’s $ 5-​$ 7/​day cheaper than other long-​term lots near SFO, perfect for the flinty girl I can be
(.though I tip with abandon and buy things I don’t need like imported soap, expensive flowers and Irish butter, I didn’t claim I’m consistent).
The Unilocal discount is the same as one you’ll find online, they need to make it at least $ 1 a day more special.
I was feeling grumpy about SkyPark’s craptastic directions off 101 but when I arrived back in town, the shuttle driver came immediately (with two loyal customers onboard, I’m inquisitive that way) and the driver was very pleasant.
You can get an oil change and a car wash/​auto detail while you’re away.
Very nice– all these positives lead me to write,

We have parked at SkyPark for several years when we travel. I particularly like the covered area (and coffee and donuts) while waiting for the bus to SFO. We rarely have to wait more than a couple of min and the drivers are helpful with your luggage and oversize items such as golf clubs.
On our last trip my backpack went missing and we had to return to the airport to search for it. Since I thought I left it in customs/​immigration area
it was a nightmare to try to find help to look for it and, after 2 hours I left the airport sad and disgusted with no backpack.
Two weeks later my husband was emailed from SkyPark. Even with only a medication bottle with my name (no address or city or phone) on it they tracked us down; they had the backpack and had put it in a secure place until we could retrieve it. Needless to say I was delighted as I had a brand new iPad in there. Everything was intact and the customer relations agent Ms. Dal Porto would not take the offered reward.

I’ve parked here since 2006 when I moved to San Francisco (and I’m 100k+ flight miles/​year so travel a list.) Unfortunately their services have gone downhill while their prices have gone up. This last visit convinced me to go elsewhere.
Super rude (I waited for 5 minutes with my luggage out of the car then was yelled at to move around all the parked cars waiting to be parked to the front of the line), infrequent shuttles (watch multiples of other offsite parking shuttles go by while waiting for one skypark shuttle), and my car was scratched when I got it back (straw, camel, back). Trying out my other options dear Unilocalers, and looking at your reviews…

Found out about Sky Park from my boss who travels occasionally from SFO. Even though I travel frequently, I either take BART or used to park in the SFO lot. I was really looking for a change since I like to have my car handy and like to keep the cost of parking down. (I’d rather waste my money on fun stuff)
So after hearing about it, I went online and reserved a spot. There’s even a special deal for UnilocalERS! Printed my ticket and was prepared to travel. When I arrived at the airport, I pulled up and was checked in right away. My stuff was loaded into the van and we left right away. I was in and out in 5 minutes and on my way to the airport.
On my way back, the driver called in my ticket number and my car was waiting in the drive through. I paid for my parking and was on my way. I’ve since used and referred them to others, because the experience was fantastic and parking should be the least important or stressful part of traveling.

So I left my car with skypark mid January. Everything was great, the shuttle was convenient and the people were nice. The only thing is that, I have had my car for two years and paid for an expensive alarm to be installed. It’s always worked. The day I got my car back, the alarm now all of a sudden stopped working. My guess is that when my car was parked there, something sounded my car alarm and somebody didn’t know how to turn it off (by using the key and pressing unlock, then lock) and went into my car and broke and disengaged my alarm! I won’t be coming back for this reason. It doesn’t feel safe to know my car was there with an alarm sounding and either someone who worked there or someone breaking in broke my alarm…

We texted and called in our ticket number in while we were inside the airport to let them know that we would like to pick up our car. When we were picked up by their van, we gave our ticket number again. When we were dropped off we were told that our car was coming, but we had to wait 20 – 25 min before our car arrived.
When the car arrived, we were told that our car ran out of battery power and had to be jump started. I find this surprising since the car is only 2 years old — and it is an electric hybrid car — and I was gone for only 5 days. When we got inside the car, it was wet … since it was raining outside, I suspect they left the door open for an extended period of time.
I will never use this type of service again. What did they do to my car when I was away? It makes me wonder if those stories about valet parking places swapping out car parts are true. I will never use this valet parking (or any other) and will only use self-​parking going forward.

After the fiasco parking attempt at the FlightCar I had to reroute elsewhere. SkyPark was close and cheap enough.
Got lucky with the airport pickup — shuttle was outside when I came out.
I called in advance that I landed so my car was pulled up to the front.
Would I use the service again? Yes! Only if my trip is less than 4 days, if more I rather take Lyft.

Skypark is typically more expensive than most of the other SFO Park-​n-​Shuttle businesses. But I found a really good rate for an online reservation a week prior to my Cuba trip. It was only like $ 12/​day.
When I got my car to the front of the SkyPark entrance, I found myself out of my vehicle and into one of the SkyPark shuttles in under a minute. We were off to the airport a minute later and there was nobody else on the shuttle besides my family and I.
No complaints yet!

We had picked SkyPark because they had marginally better Unilocal reviews than the many other Park-​and-​Shuttle lots near SFO. We were driving on the highway on our way to the airport, when a rock hits our windshield and leaves a giant crack. We’re talking about «being concerned about the entire windshield shattering if something else hits it» level of crack here. At this point, we’re a bit freaked out because we know we need to get the windshield fixed (because the car is not really drivable as is), but also having to catch a plane to NYC (to attend a family funeral no less. It was not the best day for us…).
On a long shot, we called SkyPark (from the road) to see if they could take our car to an auto body shop when we were gone and get the windshield fixed. And they TOTALLY DID and were really great about it to boot. We got the windshield completely replaced over the weekend, at a lower price than we expected, and SkyPark only charged us $ 10 for the service.
It feels like you always take a risk with this kind of place (since, again, you could choose to park valet at SFO itself for like 5x the cost). But we had a great experience here and SkyPark really went above and beyond to help us out.
