Scoopful Ice Cream & Candies

They closed this place down! :(
Scoopfuls was a Tanforan original. Went there as a kid for bubblegum and was excited to see it part of the renovated Tanforan. The shop was closed down earlier this summer. At least I got to take my daughter there — always got coconut pineapple and bubblegum scoopfuls. Hope the owners are enjoying retirement!

I have been on a recent ice cream binge. Dunno why? I discovered Scoopful at Tanforan while waiting to watch «Role Models» at Century. BTW, «Role Models» is a must watch.
A nice assortment of ice creams, sherbets, smoothies, blended teas, shakes, and freezes. They also have gummi hamburgers. Those lil’ things are great. They should make a life size gummi hamburger. I wonder if that would be too much gummi? Is too much gummi even possible? Anyways, ice cream was good but a lil’ overpriced. It’s in a mall food court so you can come to expect that.
The good thing about the location is that there are plenty of restrooms around, in case the lactose intolerance acts up. Luckily I was able to watch the movie uninterrupted.
I wouldn’t make an out-​of-​the-​way trip here but if I happened to be in Tanforan and felt like ice cream then Scoopful is the place for me.
