Dev is the owner of Quality Brake and Tune Up. He is from Punjab, India. Dev also has a family of five. He was a mechanic in India before coming to the U.S.A, working on cars and even tractors. Upon moving to the states he has worked at various auto shops. He is very experienced and qualified.

I’m looking for a spot to change my valve proportioner and ask the owner if he change it. Showed him the valve proportioner so he knows what it is and what needs to be replaced. The most saddest thing was when I showed him and told him what it was he was clueless about what to do with it. How are you not familiar with that piece if you work on brakes ??

I found a coupon online for the service I needed– then checked the reviews & thought i’d check it out for myself-​I Came in as a walk in on a Saturday morning for a smog check.
The place was already pretty jumping for a Saturday. Staff was friendly.
I was told the wait time would be 20mins. The waiting room isn’t fancy at all but they still try & serve coffee & water to guests– The custmers waiting were all friendly as well.
I was outta there in less than 20 mins!
Car passed. I wasn’t given any bs.
Needless to say this was a good happy experience. Thanks guys.

I like to support small businesses and Quality Brake & Tune Up is sort of the hole in the wall of oil changes. They don’t appear to have excess overhead like the larger oil change outfits and their price for oil changes reflect that (SUV roughly $ 25). I have yet to receive other services from Dev (the owner) and his staff besides Oil Changes, but from what I’ve experienced so far, I don’t plan on taking my car anywhere else and would definitely recommend this place to my friends.

I used to go to Jiffy Lube down the street but a friend recommended this place. Glad I went! I needed an oil change and showed up at 4:53pm (they closed at 5pm). In 5 minutes they were done!!! It was $ 29 with tax. Price is not bad compare to Jiffy Lube and Sears who charge more and make me wait longer. I will definetly go back next time my lil Honda tells me to.

This place is amazing, I loooove them! I have an ’01 VW Passat and I had bought it from a woman who didn’t take as good care of it as I had thought, so I was FREQUENTLY going back to different auto shops until I found this place! I am soo happy to have found Quality and now this is my go to place whenever I need ANYTHING done. The customer service there is great, Dev is really nice as well and helpful. I came to pick up my car late around 7pm once and they were still open and didn’t make me feel bad that I had to come so late because it was the only time I could pick it up. So if you ever need anything done you should call them first to compare prices, they are so great!

Terrible place to take your car. Don’t trust them. I have my car charge for a diagnostic they could not find. They replaced my distributor cap and sparkplug for misfiring. Left the car the whole day and I called in the afternoon to see the status of the car. Mechanic told me nothing wrong with the car. I told the mechanic to open the hood to see what he has done. The spark plug wire was rearrange and dangling over the top head of the engine. He told me the spark plug wire he installed was too close to each other (the correct way-​running parallel to each other). He took the wires and left it dangle over the top of the engine head. The car run fine for a while then it started to act again. Finally took the car into Melody Toyota to have it repair.
