This place smells really good. They already have the fall scented candles on full display. As you walk into this place you are immediately hit by the scent sensation of vanilla, cinnamon, and pumpkin scent. It is incredibly strong and overpowering. However, while it smells so good it is SUPER strong. It reminds me of Halloween for sure. Aside for the holiday turnaround, this store is great. They have a bunch of summer items on sale right now from the summer. I did not purchase anything here but my lady did. She loves her watermelon scented items from here, as do I. I like the cucumber melon scented stuff here, my personal favorite. Hurry up and get here if you want to get the items on sale because I do not know how much longer they will be available. The visit and purchase yesterday was great.

The minute you walk in the store you either feel like 1. You’re fresh chum surrounded by hungry sharks 2. You’re under surveillance for potential shop lifting I like to SILENTLY enjoy my shopping experience, and I NEVER appreciate being hounded by sales associates every time I step into another section of the store. They are certainly pleasant enough — but let’s cut out the OVERKILL with the attempt at customer service. Please BACKOFF! If I want help, I’ll ask for it.

I have visited the store few times now, and my experience has been pleasant enough. The folks here have always let me have my time looking around for stuff. And they are by your side with just one wave of your hand, to help you out. Am not very good at shopping for ladies’ stuff. Thanks to Pratiksha for helping out through all my needs and queries, while buying few beauty stuff for my aunts. She was sweet and patient enough, and quite frank to share her opinions. Taking off one star, for the store pushing all the men’s stuff to the corner: P

All B&BW are the same. What makes each store different is the customer service! It’s been hit or miss here. Sometimes I get a really nice, helpful, and friendly clerk and more often I think I get the bitchy face ones that probably has been overworked and seriously need to clock out! So good luck!

This is not my regular B&BW cos I live in SF but came in this morning 4 last day of 75% off & the two ladies were V nice & helpful, answered questions, & showed me the newer more attractive lines for my future visits. I also requested that they clean off the products I was buying cos they were a bit sticky from being in the sale bin & they went out of their way-MUCH appreciated! Came in exclusively for my two favourites — Paris Amour & Moonlight Path! This shop is a bit smaller though. v pleasant visit.

Rudest service ever. The person who rang me up just has a real bitch face going on. Not the usual peppy, chirpy service you get at these stores. The gal in the front had the chirpy peppy attitude. Anyway, I asked how much an item costs and I get a bitchface and and monotone response. When it was time to ring me up, she threw the bottled bath soaps into my reuseable bag and one of the lids of the soaps popped open, leaking soap all over my reuseable, not washable bag! The whole thing smelled like plumeria and was a bitch to clean out. I miss the days of bags that fit so your product is standing upright. However, BBW should redesign their stupid lids so they don’t pop open so easily.

This location is closest to me but after my most recent visit, I won’t hesitate to go out of my way to any other B&B store. The only things I purchase are the Wallflower plug ins and bulbs, and occasionally the aromatherapy sprays. As reviewed in my previous visit to the Colma store, I had Wallflower plug ins that were not working. They died out, and all at the same time, which I thought was weird because I bought them at different times. Anyway, I did as the helpful associate suggested at the Colma store and brought in 3 that were not working to exchange for new ones. A day later, I went to the location closest to me(Tanforan). I was asked if I had an exchange because the B&B bag was spotted. I explained my situation to the 2 employees standing there and one of them said to me, «You are the second person to come in and say that. These are not meant to last. That person shouldn’t have told you that. Maybe you should have went back to that store. I’m going to call that store and tell them they need to stop doing that.» My issues: 1) I don’t care if I’m the 2nd or the 22nd person to come in with the same complaint. I don’t need you to tell me that. Maybe your products are faulty, like the associate at Colma indicated that the previous designs burned out quickly and over-heated. 2) if these«are not meant to last», then why are they being sold? Who the hell wants to buy products that last for a month? oh, so we can keep coming back to buy replacements month after month 3) what works in one store should work for *ALL* B&B stores; it’s a franchise! Same store policies! If you are the manager, you really shouldn’t be, 4) I’m not going to drive an extra 10 minutes when your store is closest to me. But I definitely will now after your sour puss attitude, 5) I don’t care if you call the other store but realize how foolish and unprofessional you look in front of a now unhappy customer when you say that openly. Do your griping after the customer leaves and in the privacy of a back room. I don’t need to hear you vent about your fellow employees at another store, which I just spent alot of money at. Brush up on quality customer service before you handle a situation. Customers don’t particularly like coming to a store with a problem and being met with unnecessary attitudes. You don’t own the store but you expect people to continually shop there, so don’t aggravate by being incompetent. Like I said, I will happily go out of my way to patronize another B&B store instead of shop here.

Today I came in for the«Hello Yellow!» sale, and I’m just shopping around, etcetc until I came across this one worker. Swear to Buddha, she was just giving me the worst type of attitude ever. I believed her name was Ericka. She just wasn’t helpful to me at all, I don’t know if this is only me, but today was not her cup of tea.

This store rocks! Excellent customer service without all the pushy sales stuff like other B&B. The store layout is great and I like how the employees go above and beyond to try to help you find products and offer coupons and special offers. Thank you Annamarie!

I like the size and the layout of this store. I always seem to be able to find what I need. The reason that I am giving it 3 stars is because the service leaves alot to be desired – for instance when one steps in the store, they do not smile or say hello, but just blurt out«can I help you». I want to feel welcomed and comfortable when i shop. If you are just looking at a display, they start firing off all these questions at you. I guess because the economy is so bad and sales are so low — that they think the hard sell will bring about results.

Today I got these sheep slippers at Bath and Body Works. They rock.
