Lisa’s Threading

Lisa is really good at her job, she takes you from looking like a cave woman to someone who actually lives on planet earth. She’s quick, courteous, and popular. Both men and women get their eyebrows done here, there’s always people requesting Lisa. She accepts cash and debit and offers a variety of snacks and drinks for purchase to snack on while you wait.

My eyebrows are always on point because of Lisa I have been coming with her for years I always get compliments on my eyebrows she is honestly the best!

Two of my friends with great brows go to Lisa.
The first time I went was a year and a half ago. The other girl in the shop (not Lisa) did my brows awfully.
I finally got myself to go back, and I’m so happy that I did. Lisa was so quick and extremely precise. I loved it.

As a new customer, I had an awful experience! On my second visit, I signed in for Lisa to do my eyebrows. After 45 minutes of waiting, I was told by her employee that she could do my eyebrows instead of Lisa. I respectably told her that I requested Lisa by a recommendation from a friend and I didn’t mind waiting for her. Lisa then told me that she was «too tired» to do it and that «everyone wants Lisa» and that she shouldn’t even be working because she should be on bed rest. I felt this was TMI… quite unprofessional! She could’ve simply have told me that she would not be taking me 45 minutes ago! She continued to rant as I just listened to her for about 5 minutes with other customers present. It was quite embarrassing and unnecessary! I simply just told her I didn’t need her services and walked out. I immediately called Ziba beauty and made a same day appointment :) Terrible customer service and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone!

I went here because it’s right next to the nail salon I usually go to. Even though it wasn’t opened on time, I was glad I got to try this place out. She was very nice and helpful. But the outcome wasn’t as good quality as expected.

I moved out of the area last year so I haven’t been here in a while but I was a regular when I lived in San Bernardino and Lisa does an amazing job! I told her what I wanted the first time I went and she remembered every time thereafter. For the great job she does shaping eyebrows, I give five stars.
On another note, I did show up one time during normal business hours and it was closed with a few people waiting. Someone called and she said she would be there in a certain time frame but she didn’t show when she said she would. Someone called again, they were told another time, she still didn’t show up until way later. I don’t know how often that happens though because it only happened once out of the numerous times I’ve gone. I think she runs the place alone so I understand that things happen sometimes, especially since she has a child to care for, so I’m not taking away stars for that one time.
Other tidbits: There’s plenty of parking because there aren’t that many other places in the mall. Go when you’re not in a rush because there might be people already there waiting.

I’m honestly surprised there aren’t more reviews for this place, granted that it is a hole in the wall in a nearly abandoned mall. Unlike the other reviews I’ve never had a problem with her time consistency, quite the opposite actually. My mom, sisters, my boyfriend, his mom and his sister have all gone with the only problem of having a wait sometimes.
She shapes my eyebrows very well and for a low price which is the #1 important aspect of this business. The other woman who was recently hired, I’m not too sure about her. I did NOT want her to touch my eyebrows being that I am VERY picky. I will almost cry if my eyebrows get messed up… seriously!
Anyway, the joint looks kind of cheap and her little boy runs in and out the shop sometimes which became the norm for me. Like I said, that doesn’t matter overall, just my eyebrows and the price. I would definitely recommend this place.

I love getting my eyebrows threaded and usually never complain about results. I gave the place 4 stars because while Lisa is great to work with her mother is harder to understand. She Accidently charged me 8 dollars when the new member price is 5. I had to say three times that the price was wrong before Lisa came over to give me three dollars back. I’m not sure if I’ll come back but I recommend for everyone to take advantage of the 5 dollar price for new comers

I normally go to Ziba in the Victoria Gardens but after seeing a clients eyebrows I decided to try this place out… I’m glad I did. I wasn’t too fond of there only being one person who does the threading however she is good at what she does… Lisa took her time and pointed out the mistakes the previous person had did on my brows, but she still managed to have me walk out satisfied. Not mention the price was great … It would be nice to get some aloe vera gel on the treated area afterward at least but other than that no complaints I will be returning

Unfortunately, I do not go here anymore due to the inconsistency with times and the quality of the work. Maybe it’s just me, but I feel really annoyed when someone is on the phone while performing a service for me. I felt like I was just a number and how can someone completely pay attention when they’re holding a completely different conversation?

I won’t be coming back. While Lisa has reasonable prices and above-​average skills, her business is not dependable.
I’ve been to Lisa’s three times. The first time, her business was randomly closed during the day. Another waiting customer called Lisa’s cellphone, and Lisa said she would be back in 20 minutes. I went to do errands, and after returning 45 minutes later, her shop was still closed, and she still wasn’t back. I had to wait another 30 minutes before she returned.
The second time, her business was open, and I had no problems getting in.
The third time, I called Lisa the day before to let her know that I would be coming when she opened at 10 a.m. I went in the morning, and her shop was closed. Two other customers were waiting too. One called her cell, was told that she would be there in 10 minutes, but she actually came 30 minutes later.
After speaking to some of the regulars (who were waiting with me), it seems like this happens too frequently for me to come back. If you still want to check her out, I would recommend you call her business beforehand to see if she’s actually there. Otherwise, you’ll be waiting in a depressed mall in a plastic chair, and wondering when she will actually show up.

I am really picky with my eye brows and I used to travel 50 miles to get my brows done and my mom suggested I go to her and I am glad I listened!
She makes sure that she cleans your eye brows professionally, makes sure they are even, and trust me she can make your eye brows look thicker and longer with out filling them in.
My mom’s eyebrows look much thicker and longer ever since she started going to her!
AND SHE IS THE CHEAPEST most places charge $ 9-​$ 11 for eyebrows but she charges less (cant remember)
She is really nice, friendly, and has gorgeous eye brows herself!
waits never long; though I am not a fan of the mall where her salon is located, it is good since parking is a breeze!
