Sumrall & Associates was founded in 1985 to provide independent Texas agents with a local marketing organization that truly cares about its producers. Since then, Sumrall has made a tremendous impact on the industry by designing and retooling products that support the concepts our agents use daily. Although we now do business in 43 states and support over 600 producers nationwide, dedication to the success of our agents is still at the core of our business model. With nearly $ 2 billion in sales over the last decade, Sumrall has become a leading wholesaler in the insurance business.

An Ohio native, Dave graduated from Wright State University in 1993 with a Bachelor’s degree in Business, focusing on Accounting and Finance. His insurance career began that same year with The Paul Revere Insurance Group, where he quickly discovered a great passion for assisting clients with their finances and estate planning concerns.

Eventually, Dave’s focus turned from success in personal sales to that of mentoring and supporting sales teams throughout the country. For close to a decade, he has been responsible for recruiting, training and educating professional agents in all areas of financial planning and insurance. His goal is to see them achieve the highest level of business success while maintaining a balanced family and personal life.

In 2009, Dave assumed the role of President/​CEO of Sumrall & Associates, Inc., where he is using his years of experience to build one of the most successful and fastest growing marketing organizations in the country.
