I use this pharmacy because it’s one of the few 24 hour ones. Usually it’s busy but today it was severely busy. I’ve been in the drive thru for 42 minutes now and with still a car in front of me, it’s still not even my turn. They need more staff asap or have more locations become 24 hour ones. Staff is super nice. Extremely slow service.

My review is for the actual Pharmacy. I recently moved to the medical center and I assumed getting my prescriptions filled here would be a nightmare because of how busy it might be. I was totally wrong, the pharmacy fills my prescriptions in less than an hour and I have never had to wait in a long line inside or in the drive thru. They even filled one immediately for me when I drove up and being open 24 hours is a big help!

This is the very last time I’m coming to this Walgreens. I have been a patron of this Walgreens for over 7 years but it’s time to look for a new Walgreens. The staff is always short handed and at times rude. This last experience my mom and I waited over 15 minutes in the drive thru and that was just to pick up medicine. We left without picking up our medication and upset. I’ve given this Walgreens many chances and I won’t be back after this.

Never use this pharmacy!!! I would give this –5 star if I could!!! Waited at the counter for about five minutes before a guy(assuming it was the manager, he seemed nice) informed them they had a customer. Then they wanted to charge me a crap ton for my prescription. Went back in after working it out and then they had to «refill» it, even though i was in literally five minutes before. Heard them say it was ready 5 – 6 minutes later but waited to see if they would tell me or just let it sit. Waited another twenty minutes before I got so frustrated that I had to ask finally and was helped. Seriously, don’t even use this pharmacy as a last resort unless you have two hours to waste.

Out of my experience from using Walgreen’s for my maintenance medication needs, this is simply one of the worst locations ever. Every single time I call, there’s always an extensive call wait time. Even when I call randomly! They seem to pick up real quick though when I call a random department, speak with a manager, and get transferred to them. They also have told me it’s due to being constantly busy, but when I go inside randomly, it’s not. One time I was in line waiting for a medication, I called the pharmacy and it just rang, advising me of a long call wait due to lots of callers, but I never heard it ring. Also, when I wait in their drive thru, I’m better off going home because their wait time there is at least 30+ minutes. This evening, I was in the drive thru line because I received a notification that my medication was ready. I was literally there for about 45 minutes and the seemingly uneducated staff member came to the window and advised me that I was wrong and that the medication wasn’t ready. If I were you, I would get my medications filled at the CVS across the street or something. This location is ridiculous.

I’m updating my review from a few years ago to say that conditions, service, speed and professionalism has definitely improved! This is still my main pharmacy and while the lines are sometimes quite long, the pharmacy staff has recently always been quick to get your order as well polite.

The employees in this store act like they don’t notice you. I was in here for about 10 minutes looking for something in the cosmetics section, while the cashiers carried on with their personal conversations and the girl at the cosmetic counter was doing God knows what while pretending she didn’t see me 5 feet in front of her really struggling to find something. I ended up just leaving and finding what I was looking for at Target. It’s a shame that people that have jobs take them for granted. Meanwhile there’s a ton of people out there that want to work, but can’t get a job.

«Photo center currently under maintenance»…Lame I stopped in this morning hoping to take a passport photo, but of course the photo center was closed. The photo technician was present somewhere in the store but was unable to answer my questions. Another staff member who was very polite and helpful, had to inform me of the situation. Thanks Walgreens, I will take my business to CVS.

Update February 2015: I did write a letter to corporate, and got nothing but a form letter email, stating that they received my message, and would have the proper department respond. Never did receive a response. Their ads state«We are at the corner of happy and healthy,» but«at the corner of sick and pissed off» is more like it!

The pharmacy is useless. I’m sure patients leaving the hospital that had an rx called in several hours prior to discharge could benefit with the location, but normal prescriptions take 4 – 6 hours to fill. There is no communication from staff if there is an issue that delays the time it takes to dill your prescription ect ect. The location is great if you need OTC meds or something that doesn’t require a prescription. I’ve never had a problem with the actual store and prefer it to other locations. If it weren’t for the store I would have given a 1 star review. Save yourself time and the frustration and go somewhere else to fill your RX.

I’ve been here a couple of times because it’s close to work. However, I always regret it. Because of the close proximity to the hosptial and several clinics, this place is always packed and it takes forever to get a prescription. I’ve never been able to drop off a prescription and pick it up while I wait. If you just go a few streets down you can find a different Walgreens that will get you your prescription much faster.

This update takes away one star: the pharmacy is clearly understaffed, the aisles are messy and the floors are dirty. In the face cream aisle there is a large amount of gooey substance hanging off the edge is a shelf that’s been there long enough to dry out. Yuk! C’mon folks, you’ve got serious competition across the street.

Very friendly vibe. Very close to the medical center. Super layout. Older but well worn /loved space. Couldn’t believe the customer service. Fantastic for a big city. This is a 24 hour Walgreens. Hurray! I’m in tremendous physical pain, so speed & time is of the essence to get in & out so as to take pain medicine. Not at home, in a far away city, but the care and friendliness of this place, put me at ease. Michael assisted my husband & I and even alerted us to an additional coupon to take advantage that doubled the one I had. I came in for pain meds & chocolate. LOL. So we got 3 packages of m&n’s… For only $ 2. Nice. Now to sign off, take m&n’s & wait for pain meds to get to work.

This was my first time utilizing this particular Walgreen’s, and I just wasn’t happy with the service I received. I’d come back only if I needed to, but other than that, nocandoozville. My doctor had called in a prescription for me around 3 p.m. I went by the drive-thru around 8:30 p.m., and they said they had nothing for me. I thought maybe the prescription was called into the CVS across the street, so we made sure that wasn’t the case, and I called my doctor to confirm. He said he had placed the request with that particular Walgreen’s and even gave me their phone number. I called back, told them the situation and they said my address hadn’t been verified, which is why I wasn’t on their queue. Okay, I assume their job at this point would’ve been to give me a call, or give my doctor a call, to verify any additional details. They didn’t do that. Alright, fine. They said my prescription would be ready in 20 minutes. I went in about 30 minutes later, and still no prescription. There was a long line, so I decided to give them the benefit-of-the-doubt, especially since they are the only Walgreen’s that close to most of the hospitals in the Medical Center. I received no apology, and another 30 minutes pass by with no prescription. Finally, I had to get in line again to receive my prescription and I was ready to go. The pros are that they’re open 24 hours, but the cons are definitely the lack of service, and I paid $ 10 more than what I would’ve paid at CVS. I’ve been a Walgreen’s goer for many years now, so I’m sure I would return, but not at will.

Long long wait at 11:30 pm. I had no way of knowing if my prescription was ready after standing in a seven person deep line! Ugh!

Went in to get a prescription around 12 pm and no one was waiting around or in line outside. I thought it was strange but awesome I didn’t have to wait. Staff was very young but quick and easy. Only thing that kept it from 5 stars was that it had no red box like it’s counterpart CVS down the road. Enjoy.

I needed to fill a prescription at 430 am, and this Walgreens location has a Pharmacy that is open 24 hours. The pharmacist was super friendly for being so early in the morning. I waited a few minutes to get my meds. I was the happiest person at Walgreens. If i even need to fill a prescription that late at night i know where I’m going for sure.

Who’s ever in a good mood when your sick? Doing my best with fever I made my way to pick up my prescription at a location farther than I’m use to because of its 24 hour service. Being next to the medical center I was sure they where busy. When I pulled up I saw employees diligently trying to keep up the pace but I new I needed to be patient. They told me it would be 2 hours till my prescription would be ready. I came back longer than I wanted but they had it ready to go. The employee was fast and to the point. I’m thankful for his after hours commitment to work. Easy in easy out! I hope I don’t need to return but if I need to ill be back.
