This has to be the worst and most disrespectful establishment I’ve ever been to. Blaming poor service on short staffing is not my problem. Or blaming your lack of polishing ability on my fingers… just down right crazy! A five year old could’ve done a better job than what I got. The shellac was painted onto my actual skin and was told it was because I didn’t get the entire manicure. I’ve had this stuff done for years and never had the outcome I received today. And the rude employee telling me that he would just simply file my nails off to fix it was the solution… get out of here. Ladies do not waste your time or money here. It turns out terrible! I was bullied into paying for what damage was done and walked out only to immediately call and dispute the charges. NEVER… I REPEAT NEVER go to this place. Now I will have to go elsewhere to have them soaked off and pay for someone else to fix this disaster. Customer service is not even close to par! It doesn’t even even deserve one star… But I have to choose something. If thumbs down was an option… That would be highlighted!

Worst service ever. Very rude staff who did not give me what I wanted and laughed and talked about me the whole time. Gave me a half ass pedicure for nearly $ 30 — it took them about 20 min. They make up prices and don’t go off of the ones on the menu. When I went to pay he just gave me money out of his pocket for change, not even a register. Very unprofessional and ill never be back.

So, considering I spend a lot of time watching football and drinking beer, it sometimes surprises people how much I enjoy pampering my inner girly-​girl. I can’t stand to see my nails without a pretty polish.
Nail salons are so common these days, it’s hard to find one that does something special to make themselves stand out. In many ways, Van’s is a lot like the others. They offer a full list of spa services from mani/pedi’s to eyebrow waxing to even a couple offers for facials.
I’ve had tried the mani/​pedi services here and eyebrow waxing, all with great results! Nothing spectacular, but nothing bad to say either. I also find the service to be very great and friendly. During my most recent visit, I spent practically the entire appointment (don’t worry, walk-​ins are always welcome) giggling with the girl doing my nails because she had an incredible personality and sense of humor. It was a great way to spend a Saturday morning!
What Van’s does to stay competitive is offer very great prices on all their services. A manicure here is $ 12, as is the eyebrow wax. And a pedicure is a very affordable $ 28! And just because they are offering these incredible prices doesn’t mean they skimp on the service. The mani/pedi’s feature a great massage (if you’ve read my reviews, you know this is incredibly important to me) and the technicians pay a lot of attention to detail to keep their clients looking good!
