We are dedicated to forming a partnership with each child’s family so that together we may enhance the children’s quality of life. Our program is especially designed to provide a comfortable «second home» and curriculum activities that are enjoyable and challenging. We welcome your input and your presence in our program. You are a welcome visitor at all times! When you are experiencing a challenge with your child, please let us know so we can work on it together. We will share with you as well through regular communication both orally and in writing. Our aim is to make both yon and your child happy, comfortable and involved in the activities available at our center.

History

Established in 1995.

Treehouse Learning Center (TLC) opened July 1995 following many months of anticipation and planning. Realizing that children of working parents would spend a large portion of their days in day care centers and that the kinds of experiences they had would forever imprint their future development. It was determined that the center would offer an ideal program in an optimal environment for your children.

The owner, Deborah Burger holds a passion for high quality childcare and will strive endlessly to provide the means for teacher’s education that ultimately serves the needs of our children.

Business Owner

After spending many years raising my children, and learning all about busineses and networks, I finally took the opportunity to opportunity to work for myself. Besides, I had been dreaming of my own center for many years.

I purchased a struggling TLC in Jan, 2004 with only 34 children. Within 2 yrs I was able to bring it back to life. At 2 yrs we had 78 enrolled.

I understood the importance of knowing how children learn and develop, so I went to school immediately and received my Child Development Associates certification in Jan 2006 and my Directors Certficate October 2005.

I enjoy teaching and loved what I’d learned about how children develop, that I began teaching preschool and toddler teachers in 2009. I am currently a Texas Registered Trainer.

I took time off from the center from March 2010 thru Aug 2012. When I learned there were mgt problems, I returned. We are now strong as ever. With recent renovations were looking awesome as well. Come visit us.
