The food was good as always. They forgot my tortillas. DONOT drive away before you check your order.

I don’t eat Taco Cabana. Growing up in the valley I was used to Mexican food everywhere. So one evening I needed to do some heavy grocery shopping and had a very empty stomach = not good. So I stopped here and ordered a chicken quesadilla. It was a lot cheaper than I expected and it was good! I even had one of their margaritas and had no idea it was happy hour. I had a great experience with the employees and I have no complaints with their food. This isn’t a 5 star restaurant but it is a quick grab and go type of place and even a hangout after a workout type of environment. I haven’t tried any of their other dishes but did get my boyfriend an avocado taco and they delivered on that. I do want to order flautas next time! Also the place was very clean including the restrooms. A huge plus!

This location sucks, the street tacos I ordered tasted like garbage I’ll never order them again, and the chips were stale. Not to mention the inside was old and looked like it needs a good cleaning… Yuck

I usually go to the Taco Cabana on Thousand Oaks because it’s right by my house. I usually order the same thing every time: a Cabana Bowl with fajita chicken, black beans, rice, salad mix and cheese/sour cream on the side,(no pico) and a small margarita. Sometimes, I feel adventurous and I’ll get an order of flautas! I’m happy to report that TC now has flan. I’m used to Miami-style Cuban flan, so I was pleasantly surprised at how good this flan is. It’s a tiny serving(3 oz) but perfect to satisfy your sweet tooth without overwhelming it(it helps that the lady who makes the flan at this location is Cuban… she knows what she’s doing). It’s not fancy, it’s not the best Tex-Mex food I’ve ever had, but the service and the food is consistent and satisfying. Plus, they now have Fanta Apple soda… yum!

As we found ourselves rushing off to Six Flags one Wednesday morning, we decided to stop at this Taco Cabana and grab breakfast. We ordered a few burritos and I’m fairly certain my arteries got their fair share of clog for the day; the burritos were LOADED with bacon… so much so it was falling out! The tortillas should’ve been bigger, but for $ 1.00-$ 2.00, I don’t feel a complaint is valid. The store itself was clean and organized, but my complaint and main reason behind the 3-stars is the cashier. I mean, it’s like 9 am and you probably haven’t been at work too long, would it kill you to smile or be friendly? Anyways, good food, cheap prices – decent location.
