We are San Antonio’s only winery. We source our grapes internationally and make 75+ wines on site that are all open and available for tasting everyday.
A visit to our tasting bar is just like sitting at the vineyards themselves without the travel costs!

We sell our wines three ways: 1) by the glass 2) by the bottle 3) by the «batch” — that means you can be the winemaker!
If you have ever thought making your own wine would be a lot of fun-you are right!
If you are the winemaker that means your wine will have your own custom label. Perfect for holiday giving, weddings and anniversaries or just having your own «house» wine!
We can also do custom labeling by the bottle.

History
Established in 2008.
This winery began in 2008 when three wine loving sisters decided to take the plunge and make a business out of helping everyday wine lovers become wine makers.
Wine snobs need not apply!
Do we have a vineyard here at The Stray Grape? No, we don’t, but we have access to grapes from over 70 different vineyards around the world and we think that is even better!
Our grapes are sourced from 11 different countries and that means that our customers can travel the world of wine right here at our tasting bar.
You don’t need to wait for a «wine tasting» event to taste wine here at The Stray Grape because every day is a «wine tasting» event at The Stray Grape.
A wine tasting here is just like if you were sitting at the vineyard, tasting from the barrel… without the travel expense!

I own this winery with my two sisters, Nancy and Trish. We are all native San Antonians and love that we get to work together in a business that we truly believe in.
This is truly a locally owned, family business with the goal of introducing people to the world of wine without any pressure or pretense.
