Sonic Drive-In

This is the worst sonic I’ve ever been to and it never gets better. Waited over 20 minutes today for a drink. No matter what time of day you go, the service is always slow regardless of what you are trying to order. It always takes 10 minutes for them to respond after you’ve pushed your button and the drive thru is no better. Most of the time their intercom isn’t working. Go to a different sonic.

Time and time again, horrible service. Press the button only for some to ask «how can I help you» and then no reply after you order. I’ve waited over 10 minutes just to have my order taken, just to see how long it would take. As for the quality of food, sonic is sonic, take your pick of fast food, but anything here is sloppily put together and usually burnt. Not worth any money or time. This sonic should be shut down.

How are you going to advertise the Blue Coconut slush with popping candy if you don’t even carry the candy??? The stupidest thing I ever seen!

Its ironic that the name of this place is Sonic. Of all of thier stores this one is hands down the slowest service I have ever seen. I have been in when it busy and even when I was the only one there and it is amazing how so many people inside and my slush takes mininum 10 minutes. Food is sonic so no suprise but this place is great for passing your time watching employees do everything except for making drinks. We go to Nacodoches or Walzem from now on.

Your standard Sonic, but the service is really good, despite those who say otherwise on Unilocal.Maybe I just came on a good day. There were about 8 vehicles in the drive in, and I ordered and received my food within 5 minutes of pulling in. The car hop even gave me the courtesy of going back in for extra dipping sauces.

This Sonic consistently has the worst service and experience of any Sonic that I have ever been too. Seriously. I’ve been to lots, all over Texas!
I normally don’t write negative reviews, but felt compelled to after the experience I received, today. After several prior frustrating experiences over delays and bad orders, I normally avoid this Sonic even if it means driving extra miles to a better location.
However, I agree to stop to pick up 3 DRINKS upon the request of my young daughter, as we were passing by. After all, how bad can it be with 3 fountain drinks, right? Well, pretty bad it seems.
It took 25 minutes to get 3 fountain drinks! I called them after 15 MINUTES about the delay. Not even an apology was issued. Did they lose the order? Confusion reigns at this place. It took another 10 minutes to get the drinks?! Never an apology. No concern for the customer.
Staff is clueless. Management must be horrible. Avoid this Sonic.

Just drove away without ordering when we found out they are charging now for water. Also they were out of the ciabatta bread for the sandwiches we ordered and wanted to put them on hamburger buns. If we come back we will bring our own cups for tap water. Why don’t they just add a quarter to their sandwiches instead of making everyone mad? Went to Wendy’s and it was pretty good.

Even though this sonic is closest to where I live, I try to avoid it at all costs.
The service is terrible. Occasionally you get a nice staff member but it doesn’t make up for the rest.
The food usually comes out as the wrong or messed up order and is pretty cold.
Seriously, I would definitely choose a different one to go to.

I love the slush’s, especially the lime and I love the drive-​through for convenience.
The route 44 slush is good for a whole day of fighting summer heat.

The customer service I just received here was the worst customer service I have ever received from any business.
My order (one drink and one shake) was accidentally deleted. When I asked about it, I was told «we’ll look right into it». After about 30 minutes, I asked for a refund.
I asked if I could still get my order (maybe this was my mistake, but I didn’t waste over 30 minutes of my Sunday waiting for drinks just to break even). The manager said that they had already thrown it away, and if I had asked for that earlier then they could have done that. It was too late now. I said that I didn’t think that was fair. She said she could make me the drink but not the shake. I said that I thought I should get the order I had placed originally, including the milk shake. She could only give me the milk shake if it was a smaller size, because «It would cost $ 3 a shake for the shake they threw out and the one they’d have to make me again, so that’s going to cost us $ 6». I was made to feel like the 45 minutes of my Sunday that I spent sitting in my hot car wasn’t even worth the production cost of a milk shake (which is less than $ 6 or they wouldn’t make a profit).
By the time she agreed to make me my original order, I was practically in tears. I felt so horribly mistreated and made to feel like my time was worthless. I don’t expect much from fast food, but I do expect to be treated with respect. There are enough sonic locations around that this one could easily be avoided.

For a Sonic, this place is lacking in service. To be fair, the employee looked extremely tired and overworked. She was at the tail end of her second shift for the day.
The hot dog was old and cold. They did make me a new one, which was obviously nuked and extremely hot and chewy. I had tried a hot dog at Sonic before and remembered it very differently.
The oreo dessert was mostly vanilla ice cream and had to ask for a little more oreo cookie to give it more taste.

Your basic Sonic. Cherry limeades and such, can’t go wrong on the happy hour 2−4pm daily.
Our waiter was a young kid wearing roller skates the other day, so that was pretty cool. They also have a drive thru at this location.
