History

Established in 2015.

After opening CommonWealth Coffeehouse & Bakery, we have been hard at work opening and operating the beautiful Hops House space in the San Antonio Museum of Art, overlooking the banks of the San Antonio River. Ours is a relaxing and welcoming space with an artistic flare, serving French bistro food and pastries.

Meet the Business Owner

Jose Ramon C.

Business Owner

With a background in business consulting, Mr. Campos co-​founded a business consulting firm, Dan & Camp Consulting after returning to the U.S. from a year of work with the French Government. One year later, he opened up a French coffeehouse and bakery in San Antonio, where he brought over a third-​generation baker from France. Sketch was derived from that experience, as an artistically-​infused bistro and lounge serving international cuisine in a relaxing and welcoming space.

He is fluent in both Spanish and French and holds two degrees in economics with financial applications and political science from Southern Methodist University in Dallas.
