Salon Volt is a Paul Mitchell Signature Salon located on the outskirts of Castle Hills, TX. We service our guests with a professional confidence, ease, efficiency, and a heartfelt concern for your happiness inside as well as out. We take pride in customer service and have handpicked a team of stylists that we know share the same values, work ethic, and morale.

Some of our specialties include event/​bridal hairstyling & make-​up, perms, corrective color, long hair, blondes, balayage highlights, ombré, foil highlights, fashion trends, and all other color services. We do a lot of adorable kids’ cuts, along with haircutting and coloring services for men.

We have worked diligently to create a space where you can feel comfortable, relaxed, and free. Schedule an appointment for a massage, manicure or pedicure. There are many options to choose from.

Our primary product line is Paul Mitchell but also use specialty brands such as Brazilian Blowout, Joico, Matrix, Olaplex, Pravana, and It’s a 10.

Salon Volt offers large group rates, and gift certificates for that special occasion.

Amber Lynn B.

Business Owner

Amber Lynn Brown was born in Port Lavaca, TX, and attended cosmetology school at Calhoun High School. There she was instructed by her mother, a cosmetologist and salon owner of over 30 years. She has been a licensed cosmetologist for 8 years, and opened Salon Volt in January of 2013. She moved to San Antonio in 2009 to further pursue her career in the beauty industry.

Her work consists of thorough consultations, and an in-​depth look into the history of the hair. Her signature way of doing hair combines structure, sculpting, science, and personality. She also has been trained in the balayage and ombré techniques. She has received certifications from industry icons such as Guy Tang, Heather Chapman, Rebecca Taylor, Kim Vo, Beth Minardi, Brazilian Blowout, Paul Mitchell, and many more. She strives to enrich the health, appearance, and emotional well-​being of each and every client, every day, every appointment.
