I was «wow-​ed» at the door! Very stylish, modern, clean, and beautiful salon. It seems like the customer is first here.
Being that I travel from city to city, I thought it was going to be hard finding a stylist. But I jumped on here and let my fingers do the work.
My stylist, «Q» was great! Seeing her for my hair needs was just what I needed!!! I will most definitely return. Thanks, Q! See ya soon!

Love my salon! LOVE my stylist! Lattes or adult beverages upon arrival and the most impeccable customer service with top notch stylists. New revamped space gives a very cool, modern, and upscale vibe with an inviting, welcoming atmosphere. Definitely the most relaxing escape any gal or guy would enjoy.

Over the past year I have found that Salon David exceeds my expectations for quality and value. The staff at Salon David are attentive to my needs, quick to offer a beverage and make me feel comfortable in their warm and inviting atmosphere.

I have been going to Lorenzo since 2005. I’ve never trusted many ppl with my hair. Lorenzo has never disappointed. I have also got facials and waxing services here. Great reception, great services, great ambience, a little pricey, but totally worth it.

I’m so glad I listened to the Unilocal reviews and came here. I loved the atmosphere of the salon and I’m fortunate to live so close! I didn’t ask for anyone in particular but I got Melanie to do my highlights and she did a wonderful job and I’m so happy with the results. She was also very nice and welcoming. ¹⁰⁄₁₀

Best place ever! I had a mental breakdown when I had my hair done at a salon in the rim on 4÷24÷15, and had an appointment with loressa the next day to fix the damage. The lady managing the front desk was very friendly, and reassured me that I would be taken care of. I had shown loressa the picture with the color I wanted and she went straight to work. I honestly can’t thank her enough for what she’s done, because the last place was a joke. So in 24 hrs I had my hair colored twice and I’m glad salon David was able to correct it. I would recommend them to anyone, especially if you need color correction like I did. Thank y’all for everything!

Had such a great experience! They were able to fit me in within a few hours which I’m notorious for doing. When it’s time for a change, I want it now! Melanie was so awesome! Great cut, color and conversation! I had the makings of a migraine and someone in the staff was awesome enough to get me a Coke since they didn’t have one on hand. Really nice location and staff. Wish I had this salon closer to home.

Salon David is by far my favorite salon I’ve ever been to! Everyone is really nice and personable there. David is the owner of the salon and always does a FANTASTIC job on my hair, no matter what new thing I want to do with it. I would honestly recommend this salon to anyone who cares about their hair and wants it done right.

I’m a psycho about my hair color & cut. David was amazing and listened to every detail of what I wanted & did my hair even better than what I imagined! Amazing customer service from everyone in the salon. Worth every penny. LOVE LOVE LOVE!

I have seen Ashley two times so far for cut and color. I absolutely love the way she makes my hair look. I recommend her highly. The salon itself is lovely and very relaxing. Everyone there has been friendly. If you need a new place to try, try this one.

This is exactly what I was looking for in an «Escape Spa»! As the name implies, I was greeted sincerely as I walked through the door, given a choice of beverages, and since I was a bit early, I was seated only a few minutes before being greeted by Melanie, my stylist.
Being able to don a robe and have a serene wash & massage in a dimly lit area that was comfortable and quiet. The colors in this spa are calming; robin egg blue, sand, burnt umber — brushed nickel, stainless steel — just beautiful!
The interior of the salon is spotless. A selection of products are displayed in the waiting room, with a very discrete few displayed in the styling section. There are no tools, towels, jars to clutter the counters. The clean appearance creates a calming feeling. Melanie listened to what I wanted and asked questions to make sure she understood the style I was going for.
Overhead lighting is kept to a minimum. The raised ceiling gives an industrial look, and with the sand tones and brushed nickel the lighting is not overbearing. Each station has lovely dark wood tones with brushed nickel sconces on each side of the framed mirrors to give a clean homey feel.
Melanie was polite, professional and precise! She was able to give me the long, layered look I was hoping for. She used her skills to texturize my hair and give movement with the cut. I am extremely happy I made this investment!
I will be making an appointment for a facial and a massage next. Even my husband would enjoy going in for services, as they welcome men clients there too.
The manner in which I was treated gives value to the investment. It was worth every penny, and then some!

Just relocated to San Antonio a few months ago.
I planned to take my time to locate a stylist as I’m picky. I was forced to ask a stranger
for a referral because my hair suddenly started falling out. I was referred to Patricia at Salon David. I called for an emergency appointment as I was losing hair by the handful daily. My phone call was handled professionally (I was near tears) and I was put on the books for a few days later. An appointment opened up later on the same day and they called me to come in.
1^st hats off to Patricia. She look at this mess on my head and said not to worry she’d take care of it. I was skeptical about an upscale salon working with damaged African American hair. Patricia put that fear to rest. She put me right at ease and did her thing.
I left with a cut that even my husband loved (he actually noticed when I got home).
I’m sold and look forward to Patricia work on this head.
All the staff I came in contact with were polite, professional. It is a full service Spa.

I’ve been getting my hair done for 15 years now. I’m very picky and they do a great job. I have been coming to Salon David for the last 7 years. All good! Especially Larissa!

I went in for a shellac manicure. Enjoyed my visit. The lobby was very nice and quiet and the girl at the front desk was very friendly and offered me a drink while I waited. They were a little late taking me back but they did warn me they were running behind and apologized several times. My nail tech was very nice, paid attention to detail and did a good job. Only complaint was that it was a little pricey.

Finding a diamond like this so close to my home was thrilling just to start. Then to uncover my all time favorite massage therapist, Kaitlyn, just finalized my loyalty. The front staff always remember my name and preferences. They offer a loyalty card which helps for as often as I induldge in my 80 minute deep tissue treatments. I’ve also tried out their hair services once when my hairstylist was on matertnity leave. I was very impressed and would go back again.

I made the mistake of trying to equate name’s of businesses with outcomes. I have been there before, had a bit of gray about the temples… the woman, I have no idea who she was, goes…” Have you ever thought about going completely gray?” Thinking to myself, what an idiot, I have a bit of gray coming in, and she asks about me going gray… uh, no, do you want to dye my hair gray? I didn”t say that… I was trying to be nice. I just said «no», so, she colors the temples…, blow dry, shampoo, blah, blah… and for the luxury of being in what I thought would be a superb experience, the bill was over 140.00. (I did buy an 8 0z bottle of Bumble and Bumble shampoo and another 8 oz bottle of conditioner). K, so, after shampooing my hair twice in a week, the color she put in, is gone… GONE! So, the strands of gray are back, I called her immediately, she said, oh, we can cover them again in 3 months when you come back… I said, NO… you will do it now for the price I paid. I got the owner, David on the phone, and demanded she redo it. After haggling, he gave in, and I never went back for the redo… just did it myself. NEVER GO THERE!

I cant even put into words how over priced this place is. They act as if they are the only people in town that can cut hair like you need them.
