My best advice is to MAKEANAPPOINTMENTONLINE. I walked into a full room of people waiting to get into to see the technicians and immediately thought«omg this will take forever». To my surprise when I signed in it appeared that nobody else in the waiting room had an appointment scheduled so I got in right away because appointments take priority. The blood work took at most 4 minutes and I was out of there.

I was going to just go to Qwest as a walk-in, but thought I might save time by making an online appointment, so that’s what I did. I arrived about fifteen minutes before my appointment time, and noted on the sign-in sheet sheet that I had an appointment, and what time it was. I waited… and waited… and waited. Fifteen minutes past my appointment time, I went back up to the window and saw that the receptionist had scratched out my appointment time. I asked why, and she held up a printed sheet and said, holding up a printed sheet, ‘you’re not on the list, so you went to the back of the line.’ I don’t know when she printed that list of appointments, but it must have been early in the morning, after I made my appointment online. Too bad I didn’t bring my confirmation sheet with me. The receptionist seemed completely disinterested when I told her I had made an online appointment. She made no effort to check on it online before she crossed my time out, nor did she call me up to ask about my appt. No biggie, but what’s the point of even having an appointment system when they don’t follow it? My guess is that they print the list of appointments first thing in the morning(or the night before?), and if you haven’t logged in by then, you’re a walk-in no matter what.

I can’t give a great review to any place that stabs you. They can usually find a vein pretty quickly, and the line moves rather fast. I like the fact that they let you book an appointment online, and are pretty fast with getting you in and out of there. The facility is clean, and they offer recent magazines to read in the waiting room. The staff is always friendly, and explains what they’re doing, which is appreciated. I hate coming here, but if I have to, this is the best phlebotomist place in the ‘hood.

I have always found the phlebotomists to be professional and caring. There may or may not be a wait, but that usually depends on the time of day. When there is a wait, it seems the line of patients moves at a good rate. This is one of the best Quest facilities, in my opinion.

My first experience using a lab outside of a military treatment facility was impressive. There was no one in the waiting room when I arrived and I was taken right back. The lab was familiar with my doctor and I was only stuck once. I only gave it three stars because I can’t say that«I’m a fan» of getting my blood drawn… LOL.
