Bought 8 $ chicken strip box. Side was red beans and rice. Didn’t give and spork or spoon… I asked for dipping sauce ranch and didn’t get any… Lazy tattooed employees don’t care… Avoid this store. The one on ih10 in the rim is very good and so is 281 and fair Ave. I enjoy food from this franchise. This store stinks!

On a positive note, I love Popeye’s Chicken. However, at this location, the service is slow and lackluster. It seems to be staffed with many young people in their 20s, who don’t seem to take much pride in their job. It is very close to where I live and I actually have made a conscious choice to avoid this establishment and would rather drive to their competitor, KFC, which is farther from where I live.

We love Popeyes but not at this location. Like other reviewers have said the staff is extremely rude and have minimal customer service skills. All of that I could overlook but my last three trips our food has been cold, dried out chicken, hard as rock biscuits and mash potatoes that have been sitting too long. Also, the last three visits they didn’t had enough chicken breasts available to complete our order. I wish they would have some quality control because the location is convenient.

Close this place immediately! They have piss poor people with attitudes that work there. Every time I’ve gone there it’s always the same. I can take so much Only this time they have no breasts or wings on National Fried Chicken Day??? Who the hell is running this place. I’m taking my money somewhere else. Maybe when I see an under new management sign then I’ll return. Do something corporate or lose this place. I only left a star to get noticed but this place doesn’t deserve any.

Here’s an update: I went back today for the first time in over a year. I got the crawfish «tackle box» and it was really, really good. It was hot and fresh and priced within reason.
However, like I mentioned before, their customer service just plain SUCKS. I tried to make small talk with the drive thru staff, like «hello, how are you doing?» etc but they just weren’t having any of it.
It also took me at least 10 minutes to get my food and pay.
