Great customer service, attention to detail and wonderful pizza. Will for sure be coming back. AMAZING and very much deserving of 5 stars.

*Spoiler Alert* I wasn’t able to try the food so here is my rant about why: I’m not from San Antonio but we drive through somewhat often from Houston. So, about an hour from San Antonio I started searching Unilocal to find a restaurant for dinner; looking for something good that was local but somewhat casual as we had been driving. This place caught my attention: reviews were good, pictures looked good, I even checked their website and Facebook page which was also good. I had the time so I did my research just to find dinner for my family and I was pretty excited to try this place. I can say the location is good, close to the highway(I 10). But, when we got there before 9 p.m., about 8:45 to be specific, we found they were closed and saw no signs of anyone inside. I should say it was a Sunday evening and also happened to be Super Bowl Sunday however their Unilocal page said they closed at 10 p.m. as well as their website and the posted hours on the front door. I’d like to think I’m an understanding person and I honestly would have been satisfied if they had posted something on their door about closing early for whatever reason. But to just close your doors and turn away business on a weekend night seems very unprofessional to me. That is why people end up having to eat at chain restaurants because they at least abide by the hours of operation as a professional business should. I have little sympathy for any place who clearly has the authority to govern their own business and has flexibility to create their own hours of operation and then don’t follow through. So I have to stand by my 1 star review since I was unable to eat here and have no plans to try them again.

My husband and I ordered a margherita pizza to share. It was hard to figure out what size to get for two people because the size options are pretty limited. They only have 10-inch pizzas(about $ 10) and 16-inch pizzas(about $ 20). The pizza is made fresh when you order it, so that’s nice. Overall, we thought the pizza was pretty good. It’s thin crust, so you get kind of a cracker-like texture. Some of the basil on our pizza was too dry from baking. But otherwise, the pizza was pretty solid. Good flavor. The building itself is a total shack. I would probably recommend skipping the dine-in option — especially if it’s super hot or cold outside. Also, nothing says classy like a couple of stools with thong butts painted on the back! We were the only customers in the restaurant, and it looked like there was only one guy running the place. So yeah, I would say just do carryout instead. They even have a drive-thru window for carryout orders. Very convenient.

Nope. The BF enjoyed the take-out dinner I brought home from Peppe & Ronni’s, but I was not at all a fan. It took *forever* to take and prepare my order, and it was surface-of-the-sun HOT in the converted former Mexican… diner? The owner, apparently the only person working at the time, was super nice, but seemed to be the only«New York» thing about the place. The pizza itself reminded me me *a lot* of the pizza coming off the lunch line in elementary school, or the $ 5 pies that 7 – 11 now serves.(No exaggeration, sadly.) :(Very dry, industrial-tasting. If you’re looking for quick/cheap/decent, keep looking…

First time grabbing a pie from this place and I have to say I’m impressed. The owner greeted us with a complimentary expresso after we ordered take out and was very friendly the entire time. The dive like atmosphere is almost homey and the pie was outstanding. We ordered the San padre and my wife and I made quick work of it when we got home. We will definitely be back for lunch and dinner in the future. I can see this becoming our spot for thinner crust pizza.

If you’re looking for an awesome local pizza place, you needn’t look any further. The crust, sauce, toppings – all perfection. This was hands down, some of the BEST pizza I’ve ever had! They got it! Will DEFINITELY be returning!

Great pizza place. The pizza was different because the sauce was on top of the pizza which was surprisingly tasty. It is very simple inside the restaurant but nice and clean. Pepe was a nice guy to meet too, he made sure everything was up to par. It is always nice when you get to meet the owner. I know I will be back.

We have passed by this pizza place for a long time and we decided to call in an order. We ordered the lg pep & wings. Half mild and half hot. The pizza was very tasty. I liked the homemade red sauce on the pizza. It tasted like no other. The wings were huge! These wings had alot of meat on them.

Got the 16″ special, was good, nice mom and pop pizza shop, pizza was surprisingly crispy, but that’s how I prefer it. Sauce and crust were good, not too greasy

Best pizza I’ve had in San Antonio so far! Very cute mom and pop place. Very authentic and the ingredients are super fresh. Not bad at all for the price either. I will definitely make my way back here!

It’s like having New York City in San Antonio. The best pizza I have had in my mouth in such a long time! I got the New Yorker Pizza because I’m such a meat lover. The crust was nice and crispy but not too crispy where it was hard to eat, you can tell that the sauce is homemade because it was to die for and so fresh tasting. Let’s not to mention the toppings on the pizza! Everything was authentic, fresh and full of flavor. The staff was great, quick and very laid back. Pulling up to the building is a little off putting but most of your best/favorite restaurants are those dives that look unappealing on the inside and out but, who cares when you have great food and provide great customer service. I’m tired of chain restaurants and it’s always refreshing to find local authentic places such as this place!

we just picked up pizza for lunch today, since we drive by this place all the time and haven’t stopped in to try it yet. we each got a 10″ pizza for a total of $ 22 including tax, and waited for about 15 minutes for our pizza to be made. not important to the food(but of note) — the man working at the counter appeared to be the owner, as his picture was all over the walls of the place… and he seemed incredibly annoyed that we were there for pizza to begin with. My fiancée’s pizza was«ok» per his evalution. He got«The Big Paulie» which is mostly meat with some mozzarella. My Margherita pizza, however, was soggy, undercooked, limp and the toppings slid off the second I picked up a slice. you can see in the pictures how saturated the crust is, and it’s about 10 minutes from when we picked it up to when I took the pictures. For the same price, we could have gotten 8 huge slices of NY style pizza at our usual place, Yaghi’s, which is right down the street and has an awesome«two slices and a soda for $ 5» lunch deal. at least their pizza his a crust that stands up to its toppings. we won’t be coming back here again.

Went on a Tuesday around 730. Not busy so we were a little reluctant. Glad we decided to stop in. We ordered a pizza supreme. Everything on it. Excellent!!! Will definitely remember this place the next time we’re in town! Fresh veggies, and lots of meat on a thin crust. I am a sauce critic and this one is very tasty! I am not a pizza lover but I love this pizza! Not a fancy place but mmmmmmmmm! You have to try! Rudy and Carol from Pomona, Ca

We came on a recommendation and was blown away at how amazing the pizza is! My husband ordered the Margherita without tomato sauce since they don’t have a white pizza. Best pizza ever!!! Fresh mozzarella, with fresh basil leaves and lots of garlic. OHMYGOODNESS!!! Thin crust that was perfectly crispy to my preference. On to the wings. Crispy and delicious sauce. Sauce is also amazing mixed with ranch on the fries. Go ahead and order the 20. Everyone is going to want to share and 8 is not enough for one person because you just can’t stop eating them. You will lick your finger after these! The restaurant is small with 8 tables and 4 bar stools at the bar. They also have a drive through and take orders to go. Women’s restroom was clean(bonus for all women!!) Owner previously had it as another restaurant and changed the food a few months ago. So glad we stopped!!! We will definitely come here again.

By far the best NY style pizza in this town, that town, and any town for that matter. Before having this pizza the closest place to get quality was Austin’s Homeslice pizza but now It’s not even on my radar with this kind of pizza being made here in SA. I’m just sayin… Great pizza with the nicest guy working and a drive thru window for take out as well as a full sit down restaurant. My dad and i have picked up there maybe five times since discovering it and each time it’s as good or possibly even better so i’m sure this will be just one of the many glowing reviews of this place soon enough. Just happy it’s around.

It’s not my favorite pizza joint in San Antonio but its definitely a strong top 3! I tried the Supreme(hold the green peppers) and found the toppings to be generous, the cheese fantastic and the all important crust to be very flavorful and crispy. Also had the House Pasta Fettucine. The sauce was light and very tasty. The browned mozzarella on top was a great touch. The dining area was super cold but they were adding additional heating as I was eating. The owner was very kind to offer a free piece of cheesecake(also quite good) to make up for the noise and cold. It wasn’t at all necessary but much appreciated. All in all I definitely suggest giving this little joint a try. For just $ 14 I was well fed and well satisfied! Oh and there is a drive thru window for picking up your orders.

Delicious pizzas that are made to order. They even have a drive through for your pizzas. They even have seafood pizzas. The owner makes everything here so you know it’s made with pride. If you’re in the area then do yourself a favor and stop by.
