Oyster On a Half Shell

One of the few places I’ve been in America in recent years that plays quality hip-​hop. It’s definitely not the cleanest-​looking place I’ve been to, but it’s comfortable and the price is right.

Now mind you I’ve been here before. Came last year, paid for VIP to go upstairs and watch Pacquiao v Marquis and the serv ice was wonderful which you would expect if you paid extra money. I came here tonight on a kinda bar crawl after checking out a few places and it was free. There’s a bunch of bottled beers across the bar but unless you have xray vision you won’t be able to make them all out. So I go to a standby Stella Artois with a glass please. The nice gentleman pours and it is ¼ foam. Now if you drink beer, Stella is about the easiest pour you can have. So as I’m standing there waiting for the foam to go down 2 fellow bar patrons comment on all the foam in my drink and recommend I just should leave in the bottle next time. I just say it was a bad pour and comment on how easy a pour it is
So I guess the short blond bartender with the bad dye job decided she needed to intervene. She was not the bartender that took my order nor poured my beer. She indicated that I had a 12oz beer (as if I didn’t know) and a 16 oz glass and there wasn’t that much foam in there. I just gave her a nod and ok and kept my conversation going. But I was offended, first that she is in my private conversation and second that she called me ‘mama’ (I’m not anyone’s mama) and third would make that assumption like I don’t know how beer shoud be poured without being the one who actually served me. If I had a serious complaint, I would have taken it up with the bartender that served me. I was talking about it because everyone at the bar was looking at my glass and commenting. Real talk. DJ was half decent but for better nonattitude service go around the corner to the Leapin Lizard. Better DJ, better beer and great service eventhough they were busy
