If you are too busy to pack your belongings or would rather have professionals pack them for maximum safety, we have an experienced packing crew that can take over the packing and unpacking for you.

I move A LOT. I heard about this company simply through word of mouth due to the business I am (property management). I recommend these guys to LITERALLY every prospect I have come through my office if even they don’t lease as my complex. I am a big person on reading reviews and this was the first time I didn’t read them and of course a little hesitant but I was blown out of the water at the customer service, the guys who actually moved me (several times they were completely different ones and they still went above and beyond my expectations). I am a very particular OCD and picky person and never once did I feel I was being that «annoying client» I do see on some of the reviews items may have gotten damaged but come on, they aren’t God they’re people like us who are grateful for a job. I had an item broken once and immediately a check was reimbursed to me. Some people set their expectations a little TOO high. I do understand these are your prized possessions and they’re mine as well but ACCIDENTS do happen because I promise you these guys who go up and down in 107 degree weather are not looking to lose their jobs. Long story short. If you youll looking for VERY reasonably priced movers who treat as if you were paying high prices, look here.

These guys were prompt, polite, careful and efficient. They brought their own moving equipment as well. (That wasn’t the case with other recent movers.) I highly recommend Move for Cheap.

Scheduled move and called the day before to confirm. Left message and did not return phone call. Next morning did not show up. Left many messages and never called back. Really put us in a bind to find a moving company at the last minute. Very poor communication.

The first time I used these guys I was so happy when it was all said and done. The two Alexs were nice and gentle with my things. I had them move my studio apartment worth of stuff from a storage unit to my 3rd floor apartment. The elevator didn’t work and so they had to haul all of it up the stairs. The Alexs were awesome, still hustled and earned that tip after 4 hours of hard work. But this time I moved out of my apartment into a house and the guys I got were not of the same quality. They had the elevator, I had all of my stuff wrapped and packed, boxes stacked at the door all they had to do was load up their dollies and head to the elevator. 5 HOURS LATER they left my house. Oh yeah and they were 2 hours late, probably because they took their sweet time at the last house. Seriously? No tip was earned for them. I’m sorry, but I could have moved myself in 3 hours… if I wanted to move myself in the heat. But I was thinking I’d get the same awesome service I got the first time. That’s what I get for assuming.
Moral of the story, request the Alexs. I’d use these guys again because they are cheap and got the job done. But I hope they know that if they actual hustle and act like they care about all of your worldly possessions and gave it a little personality then they would make more from people tipping them.

I scheduleld my appointment and they never called the day before to confirm. The day of the move I attempted to call them a few time and left several voicemails and no call back. I relied on them for their services. If you need a reliable company that actually shows up to do the job do not call them.

I have moved 3 times and after my first debacle with another company, I found these guys. They helped me move and were extremely reasonable. They also moved my brother. They were on time, professional and I was extremely satisfied. I really felt like it was my friends helping me move. No gimmicks or bull pucky. Just straight forward work. :)

Scheduled movers several weeks in advance to unload our ABF truck last summer. We had to return the truck the same evening, so time was of the essence. The movers were a no-​show. We called repeatedly and left messages but to no avail. Ended up having to call another company to come at the last minute.

I asked (via email) for a quote to move on either a Friday or Saturday, and in return I was provided an advertisement quoting at flat rate of $ 149 for two hours of service with two movers and a 24ft truck (plus $ 14.75 per 15 minutes for over two hours).
The catch was that this advertisement contained a big, bold, underlined paragraph stating that the advertised rates were only applicable Monday-​Thursday.
So what would it cost me to move on Friday or Saturday? I’m not sure I would know until it was too late. I was told to «disregard» the huge fine print. Right, because that’s a logical consumer decision.
It’s also quite clear they post fake reviews for themselves on various websites. I’ve seen the same copy/​pasted 5-​star review submitted under different names on several websites.

Hiring movers is always a daunting task — not something I’ve had good experiences with in the past. Finding someone else who cares about your furniture the way that you do is almost impossible. The old adage of «you get what you pay for» does not apply to these guys at all — for a remarkable rate they were able to provide the outstanding service that I’m used to paying through the teeth for! Building furniture back up to getting my washer/​dryer hooked up…everything is in perfect condition. If you’re considering a moving company — give these guys a call. I was also able to get a better rate for moving on a Thursday. Nothing but good stuff here people!

I used these movers when I moved back to San Antonio. My friends have used them before and I actually saw them at work before I decided to use them when my friend moved. They were careful and fast. And most of all, they were very inexpensive!!!
I called up to book my appointment and since I am a Unilocaler I noticed that they had a coupon on Unilocal for $ 15 dollars off! So based on past experience and a discount I used them.
I had two guys that came out, albeit a little late, but that is normal I guess especially when I was the last move of the day and it was like 107 degrees out (how these guys do it, I don’t know, but they did!)
They were friendly, fast, efficient, and just had a good spirit about them.
I will use them again if I ever have to move again and will recommend them to friends.

I’m always wary of hiring movers, but San Antonio in mid-​August is just a horrible time to Do It Yourself. I went with Move For Cheap based on their Citysearch and Yahoo reviews and it turned out great. I’d definitely recommend them to anyone looking for movers in the SA area.
Punctual, friendly, reasonably priced, fast, experienced — what more could you ask for in movers?
