Lone Star Carpet Care and Restoration

I posted a concern on this company’s Facebook page about a dangerous driver in their company van. I had video proof which was also provided. Instead of addressing the issue they blocked me on their page. That is very unprofessional and i will never do business with a company that allows drivers to ignore city laws by not using a hands free device while driving, fails to use turn signals when changing lanes and drives with their knee. Obviously they care more about money then obeying the law and hide from issues instead of handling them.

They did not respond to my emails requesting confirmation of my appointment. We decided not to use them after being told the groupon amount would not be enough to get the carpets cleaned and we would have to pay extra.

Here for 20 minuets. Carpets look exactly the same as they did before they came. Waste of money, even paid the extra $ 40 for the bacterial pre treat.

I highly recommend this company for all your carpet /​tile/​grout needs. I had some carpet damage from a water leak and Paul the owner came out right away on a Saturday and took care of everything ! He is honest and friendly and I was so appreciative of his attentiveness and knowledge ! I would definitely call back lone star carpet care and restoration for any future issues. Thank you Paul!

We called Lone Star Carpet Care when we received some water damage to our carpet with the most recent hail storm. From the moment we placed the call everyone was helpful, friendly, and went out of their way to make sure we had the best experience. John was our on site technician, and was super helpful! He throughly explained to us what he was going to be doing that day, and how he was going to do it. Very kind and polite as well!
We will definitely be using this awesome company again in the future!

Everyone at Lone Star is very nice and helpful. I have 2 dogs and 1 cat in a house with 25 year old carpet. They were able to get all the stains out (even ones what were there 5 years ago) they went above and beyond my expectations. I wanted the carpets cleaned because I had family coming into town in a few days. They were able to send a technician the next day. The technician was very nice and helpful, he explained everything what was going on. I’ve used plenty of other companies in the past; but now I’m sticking with lone star and would recommend to all my friends and family!

After Talking with Paul and getting things takin care of it’s apparent that this company cares about clients and will go above and beyond to make sure your happy.

If you are looking for an amazing repair job these are the people to call! I had a puppy who tore a hole in my carpet and Paul made my carpet look brand new! Lone Star carpet and their staff did an amazing job on cleaning and repairing carpet in my home, after having renter’s in my home with significant damage. Originally, I contacted them for tile and grout cleaning. After that first service, I felt confident in their services and quality. Then I contacted them for additional work on my carpet. Sections of it had significant damage, beyond repair; however Paul came in and assessed the situation. And he provided a creative and cost-​savings solution that went above and beyond what I ever expected. I highly recommend using this company.

I found Lone Star through a GroupOn. I scheduled through their online appointment scheduling on the website on Monday. They were able to fit me in on Wednesday of the same week — love that they could come out quickly.
The tech called me when he was an hour out and then again when he was 15 minutes away. The tech (John?) was really nice & professional. We went room by room, and he was very thorough on which stains he would be able to get out, which ones he wouldn’t & why. (Keep in mind the GroupOn was for a basic carpet cleaning — no special stain removals).
The only bummer was that I requested 2 rugs to be cleaned and his initial quote was kind of expensive! He said there was a discount if I could pay in cash instead of credit card. He knocked off $ 30 if I paid in cash. I thought that was kind of — odd. Plus, normally, I don’t ever have cash. But, I did that day, so I still got the rugs cleaned. Haahaa.

I have had no further phone contact, voicemail, or email communication with Lone Star since that treatment, and *I * question the validity of your offer.
No worries, and no further «attempts» at contact are required/​desired though. I’ll find some other company to come out and fix the disaster that was left in Lone Star’s wake.

We move a lot so I’m not a stranger to carpet cleaners. I normally pay around $ 200 to shampoo 5 – 6 rooms so when I saw a groupon for $ 99 for the whole house I thought I would save money. I knew I would have to pay extra for more than just a basic steaming. I didn’t encounter any of the problems in any of the bad reviews. I had no problem scheduling and they showed up as promised and the guys were very professional. The carpets were cleaned just as well as everyone I have used in the past my only complaint is that after everything it cost me over $ 400 (including the groupon) which was double than what I was use to. In my opinion there was not a $ 200 difference and $ 400 for one hour of service seems excessive and for that reason I will not be calling them again but if you’re the type of home owner that takes off their shoes at the door, has no kids and doesn’t eat in carpeted rooms then they’re your guys for basic steaming.

Disappointed in the owners customer service. I had jury duty so my husband took off work to wait for the tech with the scheduled time (email only) from 9 – 1. The tech called me at 1030, left a vm. I called back the tech at 1100 — went to vm after a few rings. I called back again 10 mins later, it went directly to vm. I sent an email to the same email that confirmed my appt. I rcvd a phone call immediately by the owner asking, «yeah, what is this email all about?» I asked why the tech didn’t just knock on the door during that slotted time period? The owner said, «we have an extremely strict policy that if you do not answer your phone, we don’t show up» I didn’t know they were not going show up. He said the tech was no longer on that side of town and he would not be returning. Instead of asking me, how can we work this out and being nice about it, he made it seem like it was my fault and not nice at all. If it was in fact my fault, I sure wish he would have gone out of his way to keep me as a customer.
5 Star Customer Service is where its at! I give them one star.

I purchased a groupon for 3 rooms for a basic steam clean. I was a little wary about using a new company, but the price was good and said why not. Scheduling was a little of a challenge because I submitted the form online and was sent an email response telling me when my appointment would be. I had to change my appointment and tried calling several times with no answer.
I wasn’t aware this company primarily works digitally. Meaning that everything is handled through online forms and email. That wasn’t a problem once I realized this because I called several times with no answer, but after a 4 time trying someone finally answered and let me know to respond to the email address that was sent to me, but he also gave me the address in case I didn’t have it any longer.
After I sent an email to let them know I needed a different time they responded back within 3 – 4 minutes. John, the tech, called me to let me know that he was going to be here between 10:30 and 12. Once it was 10:30 he made a follow up and said that he was approximately 30 minutes out. He was here earlier than his estimated time; which is great because he was punctual.
Before he started any work he asked me if I was a groupon customer, then explained to me how the service worked. John let me know that it was for a basic steam and disinfectant of the carpets. Then he evaluated the carpets to be cleaned searching for pet stains and stubborn stains. Once he finished he explained that with basic cleaning it will only remove surface stains and recommended the deep treatment. I knew that my carpets were in bad shape so the high traffic room was treated. He did regular cleaning on the rest of the carpets.
Let me explain my high traffic area… I have 2 toddlers who drool and spill things all over the carpet and already knew that I needed something special to remove the mess they created. My beige carpet was riddled with dark black spots all over. I was doubtful that he would be able to remove the stains even with the treatment. I have to say that my carpets look great and the stains were removed.
John was phenomenal tech. I really appreciate his work because he was honest and completed the work quickly. I was very pleased at his professional attitude and that he was not a pushy sales person. I will definitely be using Lone Star for my carpet cleaning needs in the future. Once again I appreciate the ease of using your online system (once I realized how it worked) and John is an asset to the company with his professionalism, patience, and honesty. I whole heartily recommend this company because I used to use another well known franchise but Lone Star has much better service.

If you are looking for a carpet company that will provide exceptional service even on weekends, call Lone Star. The team cleaned extra rooms (even beyond what I expected) in an effort to meet our needs on such short notice. They also did an excellent job of anchoring our floor base allowing for a more even carpet surface area. Outstanding pricing and service.

I purchased the Groupon offer and it was a pain to get a date scheduled. For one, they never answered their phone and they took longer than 2 business days to answer an email. Nonetheless, I made a date work. They came out and did a good job on the carpet and made it look almost new. I gave them 3 stars because it was difficult to get on contact with anyone and scheduling is limited. (We booked over 2 weeks in advance)

Well there are good reviews on here, that is why I purchased a groupon. Today’s service was not to my expectation. The tech was dialing the wrong # until I called the office to ask if anyone was coming. My appt was for 9a-​1p. The tech shows up at 2:25p. He says his gps is not working so I has to speak to several times for step to step directions. Then we ask for our stairs to be, it’s an up charge. But if we paid him cash then he can discount it?? you would think after the huge inconvenience there would be some kind of courtesy given. My whole morning and afternoon wasted, waiting for the tech. Then the cleaning we received was only steaming the carpets, no pre treatment, no dirt lifter, nothing. My carpets are soaked! The water wasn’t even properly removed.

This has to be the most unprofessional company I have ever called. I am so glad I did not use them. The gentleman who answered the phone said that they do not provide a receipt for services rendered. When I questioned him as to why he said it was not up for debate and hung up on me. Sounds like they can not insure their work to me.

We movied out of our rental home and needed the carpets cleaned so I purchased a groupon with another local company and set up an appointment. Well guess what they didnt show!!! We were left in a bad situation so I got on the internet and found Lone Star, spoke with Paul, he came out within a few hours and did a FABULOUS job!!! The carpet had some pet accidents and he was able to remove them, and leave the place looking and smelling wonderful!
The new home needed shampooing so not to waste my money spent on the groupon I set up another appointment with the other local company. This time they did show up but did a horrible job! I have scheduled another appointment with Paul for this week and look forward to his professional work and attitude.

HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE!!! Got a Groupon for the 2^nd time with them, and was ordered to pay an additional $ 40++. I didn’t have to pay any additional money or fee the first time. When I explained that, I was told to just forget it, and that I can’t and won’t be refunded. Paul is an asshole. Worst «customer service», if you’d even call it that, that I’ve EVER received! Lone Star carpet is by far the worst!!!
