This is a very laid-back neighborhood bar. Some of the folks from my workplace knew this place having been there for karaōke. So a group of us went last night. Domestic beer is $ 3.50(bottle). Looked like about a dozen draft beers are available. The bartenders were friendly and when I showed them the top of my beer bottle was chipped, they cheerfully gave me another. The beer wasn’t as cold as I like, so I asked for a glass of ice. Again, no problem. Karaōke wasn’t bad. You give him your name, and then he calls you up. It’s not until them though, that he asks you what you’re singing. Tends to hold up the process. Nonetheless, the crowd of obvious regulars are appreciative of us folks trying to sing.

I only rated this place 2 stars because the staff is awesome. Super nice and friendly. However, this place is in serious need of a renovation. They should call Bar Rescue. It used to be a great place to go and sing karaōke. But I went there recently and it was dirty and smelly. It was pretty much dead. It used to be a great place to meet up with old friends and meet new people but now I don’t think I’ll go back until they do something to seriously change the inside of that bar. They also used to have food hence the sub of their name. But they got rid of food which is the big mistake. The sub sandwiches were terrible there but at least it was food. It still smells like people smoke in there which is also a huge turn off. It also smells moldy.

If you are looking for that place that has no frills, then this is the place for you. Thy have daily specials on liquor and beer. The have several beers on tap at good prices per pint. Its nothing special but its nice to belly up to the bar and have a pint of Guinness. Come by and you just might see me there sipping a nectar of the Irish Gods!

I’ve frequented London Sub & Pub in the years of my earlier youth. So when my cousin asked where we should celebrate his 30th birthday karaōke party, I immediately thought of London’s. No the bar isn’t fancy. Yes it looks a little shady. But drinks are good, strong, and cheap! $ 2 for whiskey! Okay it isn’t Crown Royal, but who cares? I paid $ 10 for a shot of patron AND a cocktail. Like I said– amazing prices. AJ Barker is the karaōke dj on Saturday nights, and he is very friendly, and you don’t have to wait terribly long to sing a song after being added to the list! Bartenders are quick and efficient as well! Fun times at Londons!

The best part of this hole the wall pub is the plethora of beers that they keep on tap. I personally like to try different brews so place is the perfect stop to have a few beers and kick back. The bar is fairly small and can get crowded and yes the karaōke did get on my nerves after a while but I still liked the place. The fact that its not a hipsters bar and I can just hang out and have a few down the street from my house is an A+++ in my book.

Cool spot! Right down the street from my sisters house. People are friendly, different age groups you can play pool, video games, darts and well I am a fan of cheap Beers! They are under $ 3 buckaroos and the bartenders come to you when you need another I was a little surprised by that but not complaining. I didn’t have to leave my seat. Another cool thing… Jukebox! And yes, I played my favorite Santeria! I recommend having a beer or two here after picking up a few DVDs next door, that’s what we did. However, we were in there for about an hour and a half and my hair stunk of smoke! And when I talked I can taste the smoke in my mouth so nasty! But that’s TEXAS for ya.

Great location and atmosphere for a local neighborhood pub. It isn’t flashy, it isn’t upscale but this is the place to go and hang out among friends. Great bartenders and daily specials. I like the place even better now that Big Red is no longer in charge of the music. Also, just because their name is «London Sub & Pub» you shouldn’t expect to eat here. I dont think they have served«subs» in years. But, it is always fun to call, ask for the little man or the michigan man and try to place an order for pick up. They appreciate that. All said … this is a great place. Love it, love the people and the friends I have made there over the years. BTW, i’d like a six inch ham & cheese on whole weat with bean sprouts, tomatoe, olives with a bit of green-pepper too. :)

This place may be a little smokey at times, but it is by far the best neighborhood bar I’ve ever stepped foot in. The staff is friendly, and maybe a bit heavy on the pour… There may be more male bartenders than female, but they are attentive and personable. The company at the bar top is also worth a review since I don’t imagine you will ever find a more varied(and at times«tears in your eyes» funny) group of individuals. Overall, if you live in the area and haven’t checked it out, you’re either on the wagon or under 21…

As far as dive/neighborhood bars-this takes the tap(?)! Yes, very smoky and very crowded, which usually turn me way off, but i can’t help from loving this place. Great pricing, great bartenders/staff(most, if not all, are guys which is a change from biotches-you know what i’m talking about if you’re a female) really great humble, fun crowd and hosts the best karaōke around on Tue and Fri nights~Double Dee is the shiz! If you are the sangin’ type-try on a Tue night when it’s less congested. No worries the encouragement/support is not lacking here. The place also offers a pool table and darts fye. i’m in one accord w/ya Stephanie ;)

Mustache Party at London’s = free shots all night… Good times! lol I agree 100% with Fred. London’s is the best, laid back Karaōke place in SA. It’s not your typical Meat Market which is exactly why everyone has such a great time! You can hang out with your friends and not have to worry about your«thirty-thousand dollar millionaire» types trying to hit on you. I do agree that it gets pretty smokey so don’t bring in your nice purses or jackets that you can’t get the smell out of. Double Dee is the poo! Her witty, risqué humor gets everyone in the drinking mood and ready to have a good time. Their stage is equipped with everything you need to make you feel like a rockstar… lots of stage lights, smoke machine and even guitar props. Everyone is so friendly that even the worst of the singers are greeted with a huge applause at the end. The talent at this place is the best I’ve seen. The regulars are awesome and the music choices are a lot more Rock-ish, which I love.(Metallica, Jimi, Janis, etc)

Don’t expect to come here for the hotties, that’s for sure. Oh, and don’t expect to come here and not get lung cancer from all the cigarette smoke. This is Moe’s from the Simpsons with a karaōke machine. I kid, I kid. While I personally can’t handle the smoke and the atmosphere is a bit lacking, there are a lot of people in here on the weekends so there are people that like frequenting this place. The karaōke can be fun, but I think I’ll take my Funky Cold Medina elsewhere.

This is a dump with smoke leftover from the Clinton administration. I have only been there on Fridays for the very popular Karaōke night and it gets loud and packed and sad. I can’t understand why it is called a sub and pub because I have never actually seen anyone eating there nor do I care to. This crack between the cheeks of the north side is evidence enough that we do not have any decent pubs on the northwest side and I’m tired of trying to navigate my way home from Huebner and 10 all the way to Sea World after a few pints. I saw a Boston Pub by Kyle Seale recently so perhaps help is on the way.
