As breakfast tacos go, and I’m fast becoming an expert, there are good but. It amazing. But they’re also cheap at $ 0.99 a pop and two is a enough for a morning meal and three will fill you up. The service is friendly but although it looks like fast food, the food didn’t actually come out any faster than the diners we’ve been to. They seem to have a lot of take out business so this may be where you’ll want to go for your tacos to go. Also it seems like barbacoa is their main thing here and I didn’t have any nor will I. So keep that in mind. This is strictly a breakfast taco review, and, for those, this place is A-OK!

This is SA best kept east side secret. The barbacoa is really tasty. They have an assortment of tamales, pork, chicken, beans and jalapeño. They have chicharrones, small cracklings with or without meat and the large crunchy skins. Lengua, carnitas, tripas and the menudo rocks. Don’t forget the green salsa(spicy)

Don’t be fooled by the side of town of its location nor the paintings on all over the building… this place by far has the best barbacoa and tamales in SA. It is very clean! Dine in or carry out. very reasonable prices. Also 89Cent Tacos! You cant find that anywhere. I am currently in Nor Cal and I cant find anything like this… I had to have some overnight FedEx me some! Its that good.

My husband turned us on to this amazing local place when my son and I were visiting from NC and MO. We ate there, and had to go back at least once before we headed home. My Son hasn’t stopped talking about it — can’t find anything to compare back home in MO or NC. The Tamales are the real thing — authentic mexican style — you get a whole mesh«basket» of them of 6 or 12 — one flavor or mixed — amazing stuff — you’ll never forget the flavor!

Hot Mexican food — barbacoa, carnitas, tamales, menudo, chicharones, tripas, tortillas — all that good stuff. If you are a Mexican, you know you love this stuff! The carnitas and barbacoa are awesome. It’s not much to look at — just pick up your stuff and take it to go. This is the real deal.
